GOD DAMMIT

I wish we could rewind to 2007 when Tom Brady was having fun teabagging the whole of the NFL and people wanted the Patriots’ heads for “running up the score”. No one defended the Pats then, but Jesus Tapdancing Christ if Favre’s nuts don’t get swallowed while doing the same thing right now I’ll be a monkey’s uncle.

It’s ok, it’s fun having people’s moods rest entirely upon how the Cowboys are doing or aren’t doing.
Haha, for the record, i don’t like the patriots, for the same reason i don’t like the chargers, they ruined my colts season too many times. However, 2007 was awesome, the patriots played like a video game, it was incredible. I actually enjoyed watching them stomp other teams and run up scores(even though i didn’t like them). As a fan i love to see records broken and shattered. I have a very competitive nature. I will attempt something many many times before i give up, even then i will come back and try again later.

Anyways, though i don’t like the patriots, there is one player and team i despise even more and that would be the little giants and there whiny leader eli manning. I’ll never forget when he was drafted, his daddy had to step in and tell the nfl that his little baby whiner wasn’t going to play for the chargers. Sooooo when that little crybaby got hella fuckin lucky on that one play and his receiver somehow miraculously held on for the catch i was really really unhappy.

If you want to talk about balllicking, this little whiner takes the cake. He gets praised for being such a great qb, and for what, that 1 lucky play. Nah, after that he is all of a sudden talked about as one of the great qb’s of the modern, post 2000 timeframe. He is average at best and overrated beyond anything i have ever seen.

Favre on the other hand is one of the greatest, if not the greatest qb of all time. I think he deserves respect and deservably so. He is 40 after all and argubly having his best season ever, and at 40 years young at that. Who doesn’t want to see more info and coverage on his passion for the game and the huge turnaround that the vikings have made, more than likely due to his play at quarterback.

Favre deserves every bit of coverage(or ball swallowing as you call it) and that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Heracles reporting on the Favre hater story /rant

X2 on pretty much everything.

If chargers had a head coach other than Norv Turner and a kicker that didn’t chock in the playoffs, there would be no discussion… oh wait that is just my dream.

Well chargers are done so go Farve win the super bowl and be done for good!

Welcome to the discussion jordan41, true, but the chargers suck as a franchise, they got rid of a what 13 win coach marty schottenheimer right, that was not smart, they regressed badly due to that bonehead move. That is kind of like notre dame getting rid of good coaches every 5 years or so despite winning records. Hasn’t panned out for them in oh 15+ years.

If i recall, norv turner was the only winning coach under dan snyder of the redskins so far, right. So you really can’t blame the coach. Kind of like the detroit lions franchise, problems start at the basement of the building, not the ceiling. I don’t think it will be too long before the chargers are back to their average selves. I could be wrong, but starting badly out of the gates every year isn’t a good sign of a good franchise or a good team for that matter. Ladanian is pretty much done, and what really made their defense great in merriman, is not a force anymore either. Nate, i feel sorry for the kicker, he has become one of the better kickers since the previous disasterous postseason episode. But has crumbled under the pressure once again. HaHa have a great night.

How about some love for the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS…

Do you think they didn’t have something to do with the SD losing?

Shhhhhh. Let them keep disrepecting the JETS.

It just makes it that much sweeter as they knock off teams that can’t lose.

Lifelong 'Boys fan. No way would I have wanted to see Farve and the Vikings taking pity on my team. Play hard for 60 minutes or don’t play at all.
You know we couldnt let this one go. You forgot to put up your picks. I know you have more to comment also? Later

I can’t believe there are people in here whining about the score of a professional football game. Cowboy fans have plenty to whine about other than the final touchdown. The o-line play sucked the QB sucked the defense didn’t show up, just to name a few. If your mad about the last touchdown you might as well admit to yourself your actually upset because the cowboys didn’t show up for a game everyone said they would win.

Most of the Cowboy fans here have been saying that the Vikings were justified in not letting up. We dont want mercy. It was a let down without a doubt. But we lost to a future HOF QB and there Defense showed up. Thats all that can be said.

Did Kurt Warner announce his retirement yet?

I think he’s still wondering why the phone won’t stop ringing after the hit he took lol.

Our defense has stepped up, I have lost faith in Jason Garrett. We need to revamp our offensive line, Flozell is over the hill.
This. O-line couldn’t keep up with a very aggressive front four and some of the play calling was just plain gutless.

Other than that, this season has brought plenty of positives. We lost to one of very few teams I’d consider better than us right now. No shame in that.

Sorry print, i like the jets, but if the colts hadn’t given them the game in the regular season, we wouldn’t be talking about them. I really want to see, you guessed it the colts win, but for the first time in awhile, i will be happy with whoever makes it to the super bowl.

On one hand you have the two best stories in football with the vikings and the jets end of season comeback, and then you have presumably the two best teams in the nfl possibly meeting up it the super bowl. That hasn’t happened in a long time. So have fun watching the games, they should be good ones.

colts are about to do work tomorrow. taking down the jets by at least 6 points.

That’s why they play the game.

NYJ = Ground & Pound.

All along the Jets tower. For tonight belongs to the JETS.

incorrect.

FAIL.

Way to jinx your team, dick.

Great game though, Manning’s ability to adapt and wear down defenses just proved to be too much in the end.

Vikings or Saints?

Vikings… but it’ll be close. The first three drives now were something to watch. A little self-destruction by the Saints in the middle of that drive. If they keep hitting Favre like this, they’ll win though.

Man I was rooting for the Jets. I was happy at the half because they played kick ass and then they didn’t play their original game in the second half. They needed two things in the second half: i) an interception of Peyton Manning and ii) to sack Manning at least once. When Green went down that was a mentality depressor as much as a technical one. I thought there was a reversal of roles for a majority in the game. The colt D was good and Peyton basically methodically moved the chains in small yardage. The Jets points came from Sanchez, surprisingly.

At the end of th day the Colts are better for the Superbowl. They won and proved they deserve to be there. Its a better guarantee having the Colts in the Superbowl of a more competitive Superbowl game, especially considering the quarterback talent in whoever wins the Vkings Saints game. The Superbowl this year is going to be hyper hyped regardless of who comes out on top in the NFC (omg Manning vs Favre!, omg Manning vs Brees!)

Kinda funny how Favre and the Vikings just kept giving the ball to the Saints, and they still struggled to win in OT.

Looks like Manning is getting another ring, no way the team that won just now is beating the Colts.
