NFL Discussion Thread 2009

Saints Offense against the Patriots: 371 yards passing to 114 yards rushing. Stop the run and put the ball in Brees’s hands. See what happens.

Best line of tonight’s game (Jets/Bills) after the first Buffalo TD.

Analyzing the blocking that led to the touchdown:

Matt Millen’s a peice of shit. I can’t stand to watch a game when he’s in the booth so I just put on the stereo and crank the tunes.

Patrick Willis can take Chuck Norris

Bumping this so it will catch pushes eye. Sad day for longtime Bronco fans as we lost one of our die hards.

Tim McKernan, the “Barrel Man” to Broncos fans, dies.

Haha, Brees’s mobility is what resulted in him getting kicked out of San Diego.
What? I thought it more to do with his shoulder surgery and Rivers sitting on the bench.
Right. If he didn’t go get it, he’d probably still be in San Diego.

As someone else said, it probably turned out for the best, at least for Brees. I think he’ll see the Super Bowl this year. The Chargers? With how they played like ass today against the Browns… Fuck.

OOOOHHHHHH
The weather outside if frightful,
But the Saints are so deliteful.
And as the Redskins already know,
12 and 0,
12 and 0,
12 and 0.

Who Dat!

Worst game in the history of the NFL.

I missed it. Was it that bad?

Usually Eagles vs Falcons is bad ass.

Breman can’t complete a pass to save his life. Falcon’s defense sucked blue hollow balls…as usual. I left at the beginning of the 3rd quarter.
I’m embarassed to say I was there.

I thought it was a beautiful gift that Vick gave Atlanta.

I have officially giver up on the 49ers for the year, I hope they lose the rest of their games so we get a high draft pick.

I wish to be an adopted fan and will now be looking to root for a team that will actually make the playoffs.

x2.

Damn you Saints and Colts!! I wish you both would just lose. Well i actually hope the Colts win next week and then lose the following week.

Fuckin’ Steelers…I was worried about the pass defence before the season even started. With no Troy they are hard to watch. No communication at all. Thats five games this season decided in the last moments. They owned the fourth quater last year, not anymore.

As long as they beat the Ravens and Browns. The seasons lost anyway. Hope it’s a good draft for cornerbacks cause they need some. William Gay is not a starter.

I know some of you guys play fantasy football so i have a question about who to start for the playoffs. I have a flex spot and a WR spot which i am undecided about. I have three options and need two of them.

Jerricho Cotchery @ TB
Michael Crabtree vs Ari
Ahmad Bradshaw vs Phi

Who would you start?

Cotchery and Crabtree

Crabtree is Smith’s favourite and he has been having a great year.

And cotchery over bradshaw as tb’s defense is a lot less stifling than philli

I know one thing fer sure, fer sure, fer sure…I never, ever get tired of looking at that little slice of leg from the top of those black boots to the bottom of that black dress on Faith Hill at 6:20 pm Mountain Time, Sundays on NBC.

Is there something wrong with me?

(It’s America’s version of the black burkha, no? Except instead of “just the eyes” we get to see just that lil slice of legzzz)
I share your sentiments. Here in Australia it is 11:20am the football starts on a monday… And i’m telling you that intro sure does make my day
