If you watch the NFL big time players Peyton Manning and Brady make bad decisions at times. Cowboys problems have been with JJ, he focuses so much on the skill positions and “flashy” players he has neglected our defense and OL for years. Romo is not an Elite QB, but if JJ would put a fucking team around him we could do damage. Cause Romo does have skill, he proved that yesterday.

I know the NFL today centers SO much around the QB, but the Ravens won last year cause of their D and run game.

I still have faith, if Kiffin can get this 1t year change in Defense and maybe get some fucking players back Spencer and Ratliff on D we may make some noise.
If Mr. Davis, I mean Mr. Jones, puts a good team around Romo it just means that Romo will choke on his own cock and any other cock within reach in the first round of the playoffs instead of throughout the entire month of December. It won’t change anything about Romo because he is STILL going to find a way to blow the whole game despite anything he’s done up to that point. He’ll just blow bigger games than what he’s been fucking up the last few years. That’s what he does. He plays well enough to keep the Cowboys in position to win games that they otherwise have no business winning, and then he finds a way to blow it and ruin everything.

Peyton Manning, last year not withstanding, doesn’t really do that. He simply doesn’t play that well in the postseason. Brady should never be mentioned in the same breath as Romo. Brady won three Super Bowls and played extremely well in all three of them with less offensive talent around him than Romo has. And when put in position to win the game, he won those games. Romo simply doesn’t get the job done when it matters the most. It’s laughable that you don’t see the difference there, Derek.

And yes, I’m still pissed off about the mobile QB thing from a couple weeks ago and the fact that you didn’t immediately prostrate yourself before me when I made it painstakingly clear that you were incorrect in your assertion.
Lol okay you are still pissed that a 6’5" gangly slow running goofy fucker like Flaco beat your mobile QB in the SB.

If Trent Dilfer can win a SB then Romo can if you put a team around him.

Romo has had some bad breaks and probably gets a worse rap than he deserves. But he’s the QB for the Cowboys and the only way to get people to shut the fuck up is the do something big to shut them the fuck up.

What a dumb pass though.

Throw it to the guy who has 4 people surrounding him or throw it to your RB right in front of you with no one within 6-7 yards? Bad decision, tripping or not.

Romo has made a pattern of consistently making bad decisions at the end of big games that cost his team the win. That’s the difference.

He’s a good QB but makes his mistakes at the wrong times (which is what most people call choking)

Throw a pic on the first quarter? No big deal. Throw it with :30 seconds left down in the redone? Choke.

It’s all about timing and romo’s is the worst. Him and Rivers.
Do not disagree Greg, however like I keep saying its a team game. If our Defense was not bottom of the league for the past 6 years he would not have to be in those positions every fucking week

Agreed.

Why cant JJ die?

For sure but it’s a QB driven league. Your QB gets the glory when you win and takes the blame when you fall. Such has been the life of the QB since highschool football.

Yep I know.

But its my team since Danny White was QB. I will always have hope, realist hope but hope never the less.

Romo maybe the Jeff Garcia of the time

I put romo in the same category as Rivers.

QB’s who can play, win games but their decision making will prevent them from ever winning a Super Bowl. Good enough QB’s to contest for the division and a playoff berth more years than not but aren’t going to win you and rings.

Of course.

Like I keep saying he is not elite, but IF you put a team around him he could have a chance.

Murray didn’t exactly look happy about it walking off the field either. Even if he doesn’t make the first guy miss he picks up at least what that attempted pass would’ve, and if he does he breaks it for another 5 yards at minimum(and a first down).

GENO FUCKING ICE!

And Matt Ryan is pure class

Props to the Jets on that win.

Also, stick a fork in the Falcons, they are done! Well maybe not completely, but the best they can hope for is a wildcard spot which is some tough competition.

Jets 3-2, Falcons 1-4. The NFL makes sense this year.

Falcons… LOL

Back to back home losses its not looking good. On a side note it looks like the AFC east is going to be pretty competitive this year.

?

Matt Ryan was the first to congratulate Geno at the end of the game which takes a lot when you lose a heart breaker

Brutal night for ATL on both fronts, gotta feel for em

Agreed
