NFL 2012

As would most fans…

Looks like that Jeff Otah failed his physical once again and the Jets are stuck once again with what could be the worst Offensive Lineman in the league Wayne “thank you have a good day” Hunter. Game 1 Hunter vs Mario Williams…O U C H

Braylon Edwards signs with the Hawks, and Jets are kicking the tires with regards to Cedric Benson…YAY!

Bears to win NFC championship

totally srs

Okay I know you guys hate the Cowboys, but you HAVE to go to the 13 minute mark and listen to JJ. You will not be disappointed. And then the 39 minute mark.
The Cowboys don’t scare me. I have faith in Romo’s ability to blow it at the most crucial moment still. The last thing they needed, ol’ Dez gettin’ in trouble.

I mean seriously, how hard is it? I am not exactly a model citizen but I manage to keep my happy ass out of prison… What the fuck, seriously? It’s just not that hard to stay out of trouble…
.
Well time will tell with Romo if he had a top 10 defense and then choked I would agree, however he has not.

Dez’s mom is 38 years old and he grew up in the “hood”, he has not been arrested for drugs, alcohol or any other violence. His mom went off asking for $ is what I would imagine and then she is probably fucking crazy on top of that. If you had millions of dollars in the bank how many relatives would show up at your door?
Obvious Cowgirls fan here. So if a family member asks you for money, it’s now ok to assault them? How hard is it to NOT put your hands on your mom? Any other violence? Haha, so he has to be violent more than once for you to admit he fucked up? Horrible.

All everyone talks about here is RG3. There’s really something to be said about this area’s ability to hype up anything that has to do with the Redskins. I love them, but I’m not expecting much. As long as we win more games than last year I’ll be happy. I listen to sports talk radio all day and there are actually idiots around here who think we can get to the SB.

I want to see if Peyton can stay healthy and what they will do if he does.
My comment was about the fact we do not know the true story and you obviously have limited experience with other socio economic cultures. So I will let that slide. I will admit he fucked up he should stay away from his “crew” and family, however there are MUCH worse offenders this off season. But if a Cowboy player ends up in the news in a negative light all the haters come out of the shadows.
Haha, I was born and raised in PG county (the “ghetto” area of MD, according to the rest of the state, aside from BMore, of course) and have worked for Social Services for years. But at least you were able to admit that he fucked up. So you’re not as blind a fan as you initially sounded.
Worked ER for 14 years and family practice in a very poor town for 3 years. Family domestic is more common than anything else, and that includes sons fighting moms. Not condoning it, my point was that Dez is not out in the club making it rain, he is not toking it up and hit some migrant farm worker or doing a drive by etc. There is always 3 sides to a story and I just have the feeling in this case that Mom be crazy and Dez is only 22 years old.

And anyone that has been involved with this thread over the past 3 years will tell you I am not a blind fan, I love the game and just enjoy talking about the NFL.

Fair enough, I’m sure his mom got very crazy. She was most likely the one who made it physical first.

I dont know really. Denver’s Defense really stood out last year honestly and Fox knows how to coach the D. If they have that balance, then they could make a run I think.

I would put money that they are a 10 win team.
They are still Tebow’s team…
I wonder how the NY fans will take him being there. Think they’ll love him like Denver did?
They will love anyone that brings them wins.
Yes, fans of all franchises would do this imo. But in Denver, they were in love with him way before he was ever a starter and I think played a large part in him becoming the starter. I don’t think NY will receive him the same way, but I’d be intrigued if they did.

I’m also curious to see if the 49ers QB can have as good a season as he did last year.

I have a feeling he will do even better than last year, he has never had two years in a row with the same OC

My point being Sanchize isn’t loved in that town at all, and he won for two years in a row…

Jet fans care about winning this week, end of story. Timmy is a winner. They will love him, and call for him to start the first time Mark goes 3 and out twice in a row…

Edit: and want SanChize back as soon as Timmy throws his second pass in a row into Keller’s foot.

I think Sanchize gets booed opening day and they will be screaming for Timmy.

Anybody see Rex? He has lost a good amount of weight.

What’s the over/under on how long it takes him to put it back on? Whatever it is, I’m putting $1000 on the under.

He got the lap band so maybe he has a better chance of keeping it off.

So how will the Steelers do this year?

I have no clue. Depends too much on the health of the individual players. If Woodley and Harrison get banged up again, the D will struggle a lot. If the new members of the improved OL get banged up, they’ll be back to 2011 form, which isn’t very good. If Sanders gets hurt and Wallace sits out, the passing game is in serious trouble. If Ben misses significant time, they’re fucked.

If everyone stays relatively healthy, they could win #7. Too soon to tell. I’ll be watching though.

Tebow is already getting heckled in Jets training camp, after completeing 3 of 13 passes fans heckled LOUDLY thats why your not starting. This is the same day he did the chesticle rain dance. I did hear he did pass for a TD today albeit against NO defense.

To think if Sanchez went 8-8 in his first year and then to back to back championship games in the years after we (meaning Jet fans) wouldn’t have to deal with the Teblow BS.

FWIW Sanchez has looked great in training camp.

Your my boy Mark…fuck that gentile Tim Teblow

Getting to the Giants…losing Terrell Thomas is a very big injury, he is one of the leagues most underrated corners and now will have to rely on Prince, who is basically still an unproven rookie.

could be he didnt want to share the limelight, James did come in and have more carries than faulk ever did in a season as a colt so dont know if I would say it was because of potential lack of touches. and yeah most rb’s are lucky to play at a high level for more than 6 years.

but anyways talking current anybody think manning is crazy for coming back with having that type of injury and multi surgeries? know the guys a competitor and all but man dont think he has much left to prove anyways.
I did. I already thought his intelligence was holding him back, but having sat out for a year and an injury like that at his age I think he would be much better off coaching. I hope he was able to get some steroids.
Lol at the roids comment.

Peyton has been on record with many that he will not be coaching after his career is over, he totally plans on going into broadcasting.
Sad, he’s one of the greatest minds in Football. But you never know what being away from your passion + salary can change things.

If Cutler stays healthy (and plays well like he did last season, as short as it was) and Marshall does work, I think the Bears have as good a chance as anyone to be some serious contenders. Ofc it is not as simple as that as we have Mike Tice as OC now… will be interesting to see how that pans out.

Assuming they do get to the NFC championship (that’s just the irrational Bears fan inside of me saying that), it could be against anyone man… could be the Packers, Lions, Eagles, 49ers, hell even the Cowboys (if Romo doesn’t shit the bed in the playoffs, assuming they get there).
