could be he didnt want to share the limelight, James did come in and have more carries than faulk ever did in a season as a colt so dont know if I would say it was because of potential lack of touches. and yeah most rb’s are lucky to play at a high level for more than 6 years.
but anyways talking current anybody think manning is crazy for coming back with having that type of injury and multi surgeries? know the guys a competitor and all but man dont think he has much left to prove anyways.
I did. I already thought his intelligence was holding him back, but having sat out for a year and an injury like that at his age I think he would be much better off coaching. I hope he was able to get some steroids.
Lol at the roids comment.
Peyton has been on record with many that he will not be coaching after his career is over, he totally plans on going into broadcasting.
Sad, he’s one of the greatest minds in Football. But you never know what being away from your passion + salary can change things.
I agree the dude knows what all the other 21 players on the field are doing, going to do and what they had for lunch. But you know some people are unable to coach/teach, and find no joy in it. With his personality he will be great to listen to announce games though.

Bears to win NFC championship

Against who?
And as long as Cutler doesnt get another boo boo
If Cutler stays healthy (and plays well like he did last season, as short as it was) and Marshall does work, I think the Bears have as good a chance as anyone to be some serious contenders. Ofc it is not as simple as that as we have Mike Tice as OC now… will be interesting to see how that pans out.
Assuming they do get to the NFC championship (that’s just the irrational Bears fan inside of me saying that), it could be against anyone man… could be the Packers, Lions, Eagles, 49ers, hell even the Cowboys (if Romo doesn’t shit the bed in the playoffs, assuming they get there).
I agree the Bears with that D and running game are potent especially with T.O. junior back with Cutler. Again like most teams it all depends on how the season plays out with injuries and schedule.
They will love anyone that brings them wins.
Yes, fans of all franchises would do this imo. But in Denver, they were in love with him way before he was ever a starter and I think played a large part in him becoming the starter. I don’t think NY will receive him the same way, but I’d be intrigued if they did.
My point being Sanchize isn’t loved in that town at all, and he won for two years in a row…
Jet fans care about winning this week, end of story. Timmy is a winner. They will love him, and call for him to start the first time Mark goes 3 and out twice in a row…
I think Sanchize gets booed opening day and they will be screaming for Timmy.
Anybody see Rex? He has lost a good amount of weight.
Tebow is already getting heckled in Jets training camp, after completeing 3 of 13 passes fans heckled LOUDLY thats why your not starting. This is the same day he did the chesticle rain dance. I did hear he did pass for a TD today albeit against NO defense.
To think if Sanchez went 8-8 in his first year and then to back to back championship games in the years after we (meaning Jet fans) wouldn’t have to deal with the Teblow BS.
Please give me your opinion of Issac Redmond, I have him as a keeper in one of my FFootball leagues for cheap, it seems as if he will be the main back this year…does he have the ability to be very good?

If the OL improves like I think it will with the addition of DeCastro, then yes I think Redman is in for a breakout year. He is a hard runner that hits the hole with authority and can break tackles. Really a classic Steelers back in the Barry Foster/Bam Morris mold. He’s no in-his-prime Bus, but he’s good. I like him a LOT more than Mendenhall. He is going to be my sleeper pick of the year as well, as I don’t think Mendenhall is going to have the starting job when he comes back off the PUP list. I think this will be Rashard’s last year in Pittsburgh. He is at the end of his rookie deal and there has been no talk of an extension.
Plus the dude is fucking money in the bank on short yardage.
I don’t, however, think he’s much of a threat in the passing game since I don’t think he excels in the open field. He makes his money between the tackles.
I predict 1300 yds rushing with 10+ TDs, maybe 300 receiving and a TD. For his pre-season ranking that will be fabulous production.

Anyone going to the HOF game? I’ll be there considering i live about 15 minutes from it.
Any thoughts on the redskins. As much hype and RG3 is getting i think hes a bust, atleast for his rookie season.
No but that would be fun to go to.
Was Cam’s rookie season a bust to you?
What would you consider a bust for RG3?
Your right, cam newton did exceptional but he didn’t make them a playoff team.
Every skins fan who i have talked to thinks they can easily make the playoffs. A young QB can put up big numbers but it tougher to lead a team to the playoffs.

Everyone is a contender in August.
RG 3 is a very smart talented kid, however so was Peyton and Cam, neither made the playoffs the first year. The skins were a top pick for a reason, they have more problems than just the QB. Shanny will have them a contender in a few years and he has the QB of the future, but making the playoffs this year. I just dont see it happening.
I love how Cam does completely unprecedented shit because circumstances lined up exactly right (those first few weeks, EVERYONE’s post-lockout pass def was atrocious) and completely unpredictably (say, how about we ignore both JStew AND Deangelo at the GL) but let’s still completely reset our expectations/ceiling for rookie-QBs going fwd.

Thank you sir!
I got him for $50 Demarco Murray for $70 and Hakeem Nicks for $210 in my auction keeper league with a cap of $1500 bucks.
Kolb is done in Az, anybody think he will be dropped after the regular season?
Im going to say no right now but there are alot of games between then and now. But I can tell you that there isnt a starting QB yet for Arizona. With New Orleans starting CBs sitting out, none of the 3 showed any signs of improvement.
