NFL 2012

Eagles vs Redskins 18/11

Mark it on your calender.

Yeah, in America that’s 11/18.

lol, i was wondering… that said, I still think the Eagles will win, as a Skins fan I stay realist

Yes, okay.

And we forgive you for getting everything backwards.

No he’s never been MVP but if we’re talking football (like we should, shame on you Beans for bringing his repentant past AGAIN), he’s the all-time leading QB rusher (he has run for over 5000 yards, as a QUARTERBACK).

And how many SB and Playoff wins?

Everyone loves to dump on Romo for this so right back at you, what has Vick done besides run for his life? He can barely read a secondary.
On January 1, 2003, Vick led the Atlanta Falcons to an upset victory over the heavily favored Green Bay 27â??7 in the NFC playoffs, ending the Packers’ undefeated playoff record at Lambeau Field

How many Playoff Wins does Romo have again? That was Vick’s Second year with a team of players people could hardly remember.
Fair enough but that was 9 years ago.

Still doesn’t change Vick can’t stay healthy or be in any way a pocket passer

I’m doing an assignment and have MNF in the background. I swear every time I look up to watch Romo is getting picked.

You mean you’ve only looked up five times? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

da

bears

OT loss 2nd week in a row. Still, looks like Tannehill might finally be the answer.

Gruden just now on MNF: “Tony Romo reminds me of Josey Wales.”

Good grief.
I’m pretty sure he was referring to Jay Cutler because he was zipping 'em all night.

I fucking hate everything about ESPN and the New York Jets.

The Niners are the consensus best team in football after two weeks, they go out and lay a huge fucking ostrich egg and then smear the yolk all over their naked bodies for all to see on national television, everyone starts in with the whispers of doubt, they respond by beating the absolute tar out of the Jets, and all anyone on ESPN can talk about is Tebow, Sanchez and the sad state of the Jets.

I mean, this was the statement game of all statement games, or at least the biggest statement a team can make this early in the season, and ESPN can’t stop shoving Tebow’s cock in their mouths while they gently fondly Sanchez’s balls with one hand and finger Rex Ryan’s fat asshole with the other. It’s degrading to watch them devote such attention to a franchise that is, right now, one of the biggest jokes in professional sports and is comprised mostly of a bunch of low-class, low-rent jerks and prima donnas, all of whom are being cheered on by bunch of wet-brained alcoholics and child molesters.

Shit, I think some other sports outlet should start covering ESPN’s bizarre love triangle as if THAT is the real story. They could have certain segments of their daily highlight show devoted strictly to covering ESPN’s coverage of the Jets and Tebow and Sanchez and Ryan. Forget about covering their actual games; they should just stick to doing highlights of Skip Bayless’ and Stephen A. Smith’s daily bukakke sessions with each other and cover the amount of times Tebow’s name is mentioned as if they’re covering a single-season home run record chase or something. Hell, they could just start creating different statistics just to watch the “race” on ESPN, like who has the best percentage of name-drops to team wins during NFL Live, kind of like covering a batting title race.
Being a jet fan I can assure you that I am neither a wet brained alcoholic or a child molester. Though in a former profession of mine I have dealt with many people who have had those sad traits, one of whom was a die hard niner fan.

While your favorite team absolutely embarrassed my team yesterday…in no way should you hang your hat on this victory. Do not let the over exposure fool you, ESPNs cock suckery of the Jets does not hide the fact that the Jets may have some of the worst talent at the skill positions in all of the NFL. What I found most disheartening about the game besides the score, was not on the field per Se, it was the way the Jets coaching staff was so severely out-coached by its niner counterparts. My Jets got tebowed by Colin Capernick!

When you play against players such as Jeff Cumberland, Chaz Schillens, Shonn Greene, Bilal Powell, Derrick Epps (who has since been cut) and Jeremy Kerley…you take this as a victory that you had no business losing and move on…I do believe the road to the super bowl goes through San Fran in the nfc, but they will have other chances to prove their worth against a more worthy opponent…and who knows maybe ESPN will start sucking a big fat Red and Gold cock. That’s CRIMSON and Gold cock to you, pal.

You know Derek, it just occurred to me that we are currently watching the Cowgirls turn into the new version of Da Raiduhs. Jerry Jones is quickly starting to come across eerily similar to Al Davis in the way he exerts final authority over so many things that he has no business meddling in. I don’t know if the fact that the Cowgirls have basically been perennial underachievers for the last 12 years or so is because of Jerry Jones or if Jerry Jones is meddling so much because they seem to blow it more often than not. Chicken and egg sort of thing, I guess.

But does it really matter? Because watching this slow-motion train wreck is fucking AWESOME buddy! HAHAHAHA!!!

Remember that snide little joke you made in that thread last year about pranks and I said we needed more pranks and your response was “The 49ers will make the playoffs this year”? That was before LAST season, which was especially comical when the Niners clinched their division all the way back in like Week 7 or whatever. And now this year it looks like your girls are well on their way to discovering new ways to define futility and losing on the football field while America’s BEST football teams all look like they’re sitting pretty right now, except for the Patriots, who I fucking loathe anyways so good for them.

It makes me want to puke watching ESPN devoting so much coverage to the Jets’ imminent implosion from all angles. But I’ll watch that godforsaken station 24-7 if it was devoted entirely to covering the Cowgirls’ slow, precipitous fall from the level of grace that their bloated hubris has deceivingly led them all to believe they achieved. America’s Team my asshole. More like America’s Redheaded Stepchild.

Delbert, I hate it when I have to agree with you so much but your hatred of the 'Girls, specifically Jerry Jonesy-pie, AND the Pats gives me a warm, cozy feeling inside.

Your comparison of Jonesy-pie and Davis (may he rest in turmoil) is spot-on, mi amigo excentrico.
All valid points and I have had same thought processes in regards to JJ.

However there is no alternative for me, I have been a Cowboys fan for thirty years, you just don’t stop being a fan. I hate fair weather fans and will not become one. So I will suffer like Raiders fans have for years and just hope JJ dies or has a stroke.

Also my comment last year about the 49rs was not malicious, they had new coach, no off season and Alex Smith. I was going by logic and was happy to see them succeed.

Derek, do you think management’s patience has run out with Romo after Monday night or do you think they view it as another bad game and move on? Im feeling the latter. Unless something miraculous occurs, I think they will look into the draft for someone solid but will continue with him at the helm for the remainder of the season unless he just plummets.

I’m not sure there is anyone in the draft that you can be sure will be better than Romo and even if there was the Boys most likely won’t draft high enough to get them. Licke it or not he’s their boy.
