Derek, do you think management’s patience has run out with Romo after Monday night or do you think they view it as another bad game and move on? Im feeling the latter. Unless something miraculous occurs, I think they will look into the draft for someone solid but will continue with him at the helm for the remainder of the season unless he just plummets.
I’m not sure there is anyone in the draft that you can be sure will be better than Romo and even if there was the Boys most likely won’t draft high enough to get them. Licke it or not he’s their boy.
True but I dont see Jones diving into the FA pool for a competitive QB either. Orton has shown that he can be a dependable 2nd but not much more than that. Of course you can never be 100% sure a draft pick will be a great investment but signing one and placing him under Romo’s wing can benefit both players.

It’s not too late to start rooting for a team like the Ravens or even the Texans. You could just start by telling people they’re just the AFC team you mildly root for just to have a bit of extra interest in what goes on over in the junior circuit. No one will really blame when ten years from now they all look up and realize you haven’t watched a Cowgirls game in 6 years.

This thing goes way deeper than Romo imo. I think Jones is smart enough to realize that he’s still their guy.

I think Romo is done after this year… It wasn’t all his fault, but he definitely is not up to par.

Lol I love football, so I have been a Texans fan since I moved to Houston 3 years ago, they are my AFC team.

It’s happening already. You don’t even know it yet, but one day you’ll wake up and realize that there isn’t one single piece of memorabilia of any kind related to the Cowgirls in your home. Then you’ll have come full circle.

if their O-line continues to be shit and Dez can’t get it together, their record might just be bad enough to get a good QB in the first round. I don’t know shit about college football but isn’t there a damn good QB in the draft next year?

Sorry not going to happen my friend. But the older I get the more I appreciate the NFL from a business sense, probably due to my job. But the Boys will always be my favorite team, my passion and anger has subdued some what due to the mediocrity.
Also every year the NFL gets more and more even, who would have thought the Rams even had a chances against the Cards?
I DVR’ed it. Very much looking fwd to that upcoming one on that “Fearsome Foursome” in Los Angeles.

Credit certainly goes to the HC’s scheme (unless I’m mistaken, suspended Gregg Williams remains current Rams DC) and bringing CB-Finnegan along w/him, but it really just comes to a ton of 1st-round talent on that side of the ball.
Both edge rushers, playmaking MLB, and even rookie CB-Jenkins was always considered top-10 talent despite the knucklehead tendencies. High expectations for top pick DT-Brockers as well.

At the beginning of the season, who would have even given half a shit about that game?
Cards aren’t going anywhere with their QB situation being what it is. Defense can only get you so far in today’s NFL.
So what do you guys think 1 or 2 more games until Tebow takes over?
It all depends on their defense. The reason Tebow was able to manage the game in Denver was bc they had a stout defense. Witht the condition the Jets defense is in, he wouldnt stand a chance. Especially against Houston.
One team that we havent really brought on here is Vikings. Major props to Ponder. I know Im suposed to despise them as a Packer fan but I have really enjoyed watching them the past few weeks. They play Tennesee this weekend and Ill certainly be tuning in. Ponder deserves alot of credit.

I agree. Unless Seattle changes to Flynn(which is the current rumor) and he performs like everyone thought he would, they will also have be limited this year. Wilson is performing the worst out of the starting rookie QBs and although Lynch is a strong runner, he can be shout down.

I had a feeling about that kid when he came out last year, he has poise and great attitude.
