^^you really think Freeman can turn it around? He was pretty whack last year.

Oh he was serious? I thought he was making a funny. With the FA moves they made in the WR position, Freeman dropping like 30lbs since last season, and Sullivan as OC, there is bound to be positive change on the offense. With the running game, we will just have to wait and see since it will be a new system all together. The defense is the worry. They are kind of going through what Green Bay did last year; depth at the D-line. They did pick up Okoye in FA and still have the Clayborn and McCoy from last years draft but a bad injury can cause major issues on that side of the ball.

Might wanna put you ass back on.

You’ll need it for cushion as the Bucs provide edge of your seat football experiences this year.

I cannot possibly see what about the Bucs is going to allow them to run the table. IF they have a winning season it will be 9-7. Freeman will fade like last season, Blount is a hot head who cannot handle pressure and is a locker room problem. I don’t think they are a bad team, but they are far from the top.

I agree. I think the Texan’s make a good run this year assuming all is good on the injury front.

AFC is tough though… Long road in those playoffs.
Who wants an easy trip to the Superbowl? Play the best to be the best.

Of course I’m joking. Its all just preseason optimism.

As a TB fan Id be happy with 8 wins. Every win after that will be icing.

Speaking of Cowboys, how are you feeling after last night Derek? The O-line needs help desperately and the recieving squad is looking scary. The defense doesnt look too bad. Sensabaugh and Crunch looked good.
I remember alot of dropped passes, friend.

pre-season just cant compare… I’m ready for some ball.

Whew… I was worried about you there for a few.

Chad Johnson dropped like an ugly prom date.

Is he done?
Yes, in every way.

The week before and week of the 1st week of preseason, Im pretty pumped up just to watch any games. After that, Ill only stick to my team just to see potential in back ups and rookies. Especially with the fill-in refs, its hard to watch a full game. Which I havent btw.

Witten out with spleen injury. that sucks. least it didn’t rupture

Damn. He’s by far my favorite Dallas player.

I’m calling it right now.

Bucs will win the South. Don’t care what their record is, it will be better than NOLA, ATL, and Carolina.

Schiano is at the helm, he’s got specialty coaches like Earnest Byner (RB’s) and Brian Cox (Defense front 7).

They’ve got a deep threat magic man in V. Jackson and their running game is deep. Blount and Martin will be the comittee with that big fucker Lorig blocking for them.

Freeman can sling it and he’s mobile. I think he’s going to chalk up last season as the sophmore blues and get after it this year. He’ll never be Cam Newton, or Matty Ice for that matter, but I think under Sullivan and Schiano he’s going to be serviceable. I’m really excited for the Bucs this year.

Two concerns:

 1. Rhonde Barbers’ coverage ability while in a wheelchair.
 2. Blount has a tendency to crack Boise players in the jaw. He might get a little froggy having a Bronco behind him in the depth chart.

Its preseason, if the Oline looks bad through preseason then I am seriously scared for this year

I hope you are kidding too…

^^not about the Blount and Martin combo… I think they are going to have really big years.

But yeah, they rest is pretty out there, especially the part about Vincet Jackson. That dude is a turd and a half.

cowboys have a lot to be worried about IMO. Not even about Romo this time. O-line, Witten (I guess not that big of a deal), Dez Bryant w/ possible disciplinary action, Miles Austin and his hammies problems, center problems, Felix failing that conditioning test… who knows mang

The O will still put up some points, really not that worried, again our D is always the issue.

I just heard Whitten got hurt and will miss the rest of preseason… I know it’s pre-season, but that is still not good. It may be time to panic in Dallas.

Who in the NFC South has a potent enough defense that’s going to consistently keep those weapons under wraps, and arguably the best O-lineman from NOLA last year is now putting on a helmet with a pirate flag on it? Granted, it’s a flawed squad with holes and challenges, but I’m believing in them for the south 100%.

It’s Tampas year fellas. I feel it in m’bones me hardy’s.

All apologies to Pat, of course.

Man, Cowboy fans have got to be getting sick of this shit year after year.
