Ryan safe.

I think Shurmer will get another year. Jason Garrett is definitely getting shit-canned this offseason. I seriously think Al Davis is going to make a run at Les Miles this offseason, which will prove disastrous.

Reid is almost a sure thing along with Vick.
Ryan gets one more year.
Shurmer not sure. Possibly depends who is out on the market to fill the roll. Same with Romeo.
Derek is Garrett safe? It seems that it depends on the rest of the season.

I think JJ is already out shopping, I think he wants the Chin, Chuckie or Peyton. If those three are not available then he rolls with Garrett one more year.
I dont think anyone survives but the owner in New York
Also, it sounds like most are predicting Chip Kelly to pack up for the pros after this season. If so, any thoughts on where he might land? I see Philly being a top choice. Possbily Cleveland since its not as unappealing as it has been in the past years.

Okay question to all the haters.
Brees throws 0=TD and 5=Picks and nobody is calling for him to be thrown out of town?
Tony Romo hasn’t won shit in Dallas. Until he does he isn’t immune to being criticized when he continually throws picks.
Brees HAS won shit and has therefore accumulated several of the proverbial “get out of jail free” cards when he has a rare bad game.
Do you REALLY think there’s any comparison at all between the two scenarios?
No, but all I have to do is bring up Romo and people come out of the woodworks. ![]()
Yesterday was talking with the staff here. They did not know that Dallas had gone through 11 QB’s between Aikman and Romo. Romo has his issues, but my God we went through a ton of shit to get him.
Brees has won 1 SB
Eli has won 2 SB, but he will get a ton of shit if he had a 5 pick game.
I love you Derek
I love you to DB.
I know I just like to rile things up myself and I wanted to bump this thread.
Now answer my other question.
And where does Alex Smith end up next year?

I think Peyton would fit well in Dallas. Sounds like he is as interested in that move as Jerry is.

Dallas.
Just kidding. I don’t really know. I would bet on Arizona. They have no quarterbacks over there, Smith would come cheap so paying Kolb and him wouldn’t be an issue, and I’m sure he’d relish the chance to play and beat the Niners twice a year. He understands the obvious advantage in having a coach who understands QBs like Whisenhunt does and I really think any opportunity to play against the Niners and beat them would definitely motivate him.

Well technically its not a move, he lives in Dallas so does his family.
I would love this cause it could save Romo’s career and get us out of mediocrity.
I still say Cower will coach next year somewhere. He’s got warm and cold weather places to choose from most likely with Turner getting the boot out west and Philly on the EC. Wasn’t Cower a Eagle at one time?

NO BJB I do not want to see the Chin in Philly.
They can take a chance with Chip Kelly or somebody else that will make them competitive but not that good.

Lol about Dallas.
That was kind of what I was thinking, I mean they are hurting bad for a QB, that Defense is outstanding again, but there is always a shelf life on things like that.
So which coaches get fired?
I have really jumped on the Colts bandwagon. Huge fan of Pagano. It most likely has to do with him reminding me so much of my dad who I lost last month to cancer(they also have the same name and demeanor). It would be great to see them catch a wildcard spot this year.

I agree, but I have been a Luck fan also. He has that old school approach to the game that I like, reminds me of Aikman.

Absolutely. Certainly a leader. Newton could learn a few things from him.

You know I like the Boy’s DJ and would love to see him coach in Dallas but could he put up with JJ? I bet he would offer him ten dollarinies per year to do it too.

Pipe dream, no way the Chin can live with JJ, but who knows, JJ is a billionaire and knows how to talk people into anything. I mean he did hire Parcells.

True. But now we know(or they) know how Jerry operates. Johnson and Parcell have made that clear. Any headstrong coach(aka a good coach) would hesitate to give the job a whole lot of attention.
