Correct. Kid should figure himself lucky. Had he been drafted by Cleveland or some other low rent franchise he would have been flipping burgers at Wendy’s years ago. At least with the Jets he can buy a Wendy’s and make Jamarcus Russel flip his burgers for him.
How quickly we forget this potential Wendy’s Franchise owner tossed 3 TDs against ye great Bellidick in the 2011 playoffs.
Just to be clear, we’re talking about 3 TDs against the worst defense in football that year, correct?
15th in points allowed
31st in total yards allowed
31st in pass yards allowed
22nd in pass TD’s allowed
3rd most INT’s allowed
17th in rush yards allowed
19th in rush TD’s allowed
Sorry, 31st in pass defense then.

So because we are talking about Sanchez, his horrible games count, but his good games wont count because there has to be a reason.

Please. Does Sanchez need to be criticized? Of course he does, but the guy gets no credit fucking ever.

I hate to break it to ya, but Tom Brady would be fucking pissed the fuck off if he had Chaz Schillens, Jason Hill, Mardy Gilyard and Jeremy Kerley to throw too. The fucking guy gets reamed because he did a GQ cover, but the truth is he never says anything out of line seems like a good kid with a good family background but continually gets torched.

I hope to God he Resurrection his career because he did not / does not deserve the hate he gets.

AND ON TOP OF IT they bring Tim Tebow in…you guys do realize that at least half of the time when Sanchez was doing well they would bring Tebow in for a series…FOR NO FUCKING REASON other to have him run into a pile.

Not many QBs can be successful with Tebow breathing down your neck and Arena League talent around you.

I really tried to avoid this thread once his name came up.

I feel like Im getting Trolled lol. Soon fucking Pat will chime in because he just hates the Jets just because.

Dude, I have agreed with you like 3 times about Sanchize. I like the kid, outside of the show tune stuff, he is a good dude. He just can’t carry a team is all. So, like I said, had he been drafted by Cleveland or a team with a coach like Singleterry… He would have been given up on a long time ago.

But, because he went to the Jets, he has shown he can do it, just not by himself.

And it isn’t like the superbowl teams Brady played on had Irvin’s and Rice’s on the outside…

Also, that should read 3rd in INT’s made by the D, not allowed.

Didn’t he score like 50 in the opener?

Something happened during this season, and it just spiraled out of control. Maybe in a Kerry Collins-esk fashion he picked up the bottle to deal with what should have been called a re-building year after injury destroyed the team?

Yes, he should get some credit when he plays well. But the fact is he’s just consistently awful. He ranks in the bottom 3 for completion percentage and QB rating, and ranks in the top 3 for fumbles and interceptions.

And he may not have the best receiving corps but good QBs make receivers look better. Peyton Manning makes slow white guys look like the second coming of Jerry Rice.

Peyton has got Decker and Thomas this year. Those guys are no slouches.

I know, I was mostly referring to some of the guys he had with the Colts when they were hit with injuries and had to use backup WRs and TEs.

As we come to the end of the year 2012, here are some of my my bold (or not so bold) predictions for 2013:

 1. Broncos or Seahawks win SuperBowl
 2. Probowl is played for the last time in 2013
 3. Kickoff rules changed again
 4. MJD ends up traded to AFC East
 5. Bucs overspend in FA, still not a good team
 6. Alex Smith in Arizona
 7. RGIII on cover of Madden
 8. Eagles blow up Defense in offseason
 9. Pats trade down in draft
 10. Sanchize still in NY, wins 10 games
 11. NOrv Turner retires after being fired
 12. Rex Ryan fired
 13. Joe Flacco dies from being crushed to death by his ego, and because he looks like that eagle muppet
 14. Entire Baltimore defense suspended for geritol use
 15. Brady cries to refs in every game
 16. Lions have another bad year

I may have more later

Man o man would I like to see the Hawks win. The one and only time they made it there it was a heartbreaker.

Laughed my fucking ass off at #13 (so much so that I eschewed the LMFAO for the real deal)

Regarding #6: There is no way that Smith ends up in Arizona. The 49ers would never trade him within their own division, unless they think the guy has absolutely nothing left or the Cardinals blow their doors off with a trade offer. I think they’ll trade him to Minnesota or maybe Cleveland. After all, I think Wheeden might be older than Smith. If he’s younger than Smith it’s only by a few months. Ponder is a good 2nd stringer but isn’t the guy who is going to get them anywhere at all. They have a good defense, a RB having a season for the ages and they’re still barely clinging to a playoff spot because their QB throws for about 80 yards a game.

Apparently the Jets are interested in Michael Vick and not so much in Smith, which tells us all we need to know about the most pathetic sports franchise this side of the Raiders.

Kansas City might be another possible landing spot for Smith, along with a couple others. The point is that I think there’s too many other teams who will want Smith and Arizona isn’t going to potentially outbid them if it means trading multiple picks within their own division.

As a 49ers fan, I cannot relate to you.

I cant see the Jets picking up a pricey QB like Vick. With Sanchez’s gaurantee and the dire need for OL and WRs, I dont seem them ponying up the money it will cost to get a Vick or even Smith. What does that leave them with then? No clue.

Hmmm. I’m not about to take back my prediction, but safe to say I think you are right on this one.

Yeah, I’m thinking the Jets will try and get MJD for Tebow, but it won’t be that simple, and need their picks.

I think the Jets fire Rex, keep the OC they have, keep Sanchize and build around him. Their D is still good and can be great with a few pieces. So they focus on OLine, keeping Keller and get a playmaker runningback. Weird to say but I think they tone down on the WR’s as they are notorious for being loud mouth ego machines. I see them moving towards a nose-to-the-stone quite professional, smack you in the mouth type team they should have been.

I hope I’m right, but the other thing to consider is that the league knows they have to trade him before April or else his salary kicks in for next season. I think. Don’t quote me on that. They could still trade him I suppose, but it might entail taking on some salary or something like that, or else just release him outright and buy out the contract for about a million, I think. I’m not sure how that whole thing works.

Regardless, Arizona is the LAST place I want to see him go. He isn’t a great QB by any means, but he would definitely improve the Cardinals and the way the NFC West is now (arguably the toughest division in the NFL, especially when considering they have the best record outside of their division in the whole league) I don’t want to see any other teams get any better than they already are. I miss the good old days when the division was the laughing stock of the NFL and the Niners had no problems winning the division something like 19 times in 20 years.
