OK, so you bench Sanchez, pass Tebow, play McElroy. Then McElroy is out so you play… Sanchez?

Maybe Rex figures he’s out anyway so screw what everyone else thinks. He obviously hates Tim Tebow.

Tebow is into the whole washing the feet of Jesus thing, you would figure that Rex would love him.
But seriously, come the fuck on. Sanchez is mentally damaged now by this season and McElroy is hurt. You have nothing to play for since you missed the playoffs and most likely lost your job so put the damn kid in. I agree with thinking Rex doesnt like the guy.
Why would Sanchez even show up to the field on Sunday? Everyone with half a brain in his head knows the Jets are going to explore every possible option to get rid of him this off-season and there isn’t anything he can do this Sunday to change that. He’s getting paid no matter what, it’s just a matter of WHO pays that exorbitant salary that he isn’t earning. What does he care what happens?

Question is what do you do with him next year?

Im not familiar with Tebows contract but if he had a 1yr deal then release him. If it was a multiyear deal I guess just trade him since he doesnt want to be there nor do they. Jacksonville is still slobbering over the guy. Is he gauranteed anything if traded?

I was talking about Sanchez, Tebow is not big money, he can be dropped.

And I agree about the GB and Dallas game next year

Ahh Sanchez. Shit Idk. Isnt he gauranteed like $18mil? I dont think anyone else will want to pony up that much cash for someone who has had a year like he has.

I know that is what I mean, they are really fucked. The cap hit alone means they have to keep him.

Correct. Kid should figure himself lucky. Had he been drafted by Cleveland or some other low rent franchise he would have been flipping burgers at Wendy’s years ago. At least with the Jets he can buy a Wendy’s and make Jamarcus Russel flip his burgers for him.

Ryan Leaf wants to work fries after he gets out of prison.

Shouldnt Russel be working the counter and getting Drinks?

Haynesworth should be making the burgers

Huge mistake. Haynesworth would eat too much of the inventory.

How quickly we forget this potential Wendy’s Franchise owner tossed 3 TDs against ye great Bellidick in the 2011 playoffs.

Matty can he be saved? Since he will be back in NY next year, what do they do in the off season?

Leaf can do security. As for Fat Albert, that lazy (can’t produce a single) sack would eat more than he flipped. He can go fondle waitresses at strip clubs. Sanchize wants nothign to do with him.

That is my point. With a solid team and a good situation he shined and earned some solid dough. But he isn’t the type that can carry a team all by himself. He can win with a solid team, make a solid team a good team, but he can’t carry one.

So if he didn’t end up in NY, he would have had a short ass career.

Just to be clear, we’re talking about 3 TDs against the worst defense in football that year, correct?

I hope he wont for his sake, I nice warm Arizona would suit him well, Larry Fitzgerald will think Sanchez is fucking Joe Montana compared to the filth he has to deal with.

Heres how you can save him.

Get NFL caliber receivers
Get NFL caliber running backs
Get a NFL caliber Offensive Coordinator
Get a NFL caliber Guard

He is not Aaron Rodgers, or Brady or Brees.

BUT if you surround him with SOME modicum of talent you can win with him, he has proven that.

Unfortunately, he will never be treated fairly in NY, he is too polarizing of a figure.

Not sure if they were the worse defense that year…but I digress

How about the 230 yards and 2 scores against the Steelers, surely they werent the leagues worst defense now were they?

How about his first playoff game against the Bengals…where he was close to Perfect, as a rookie no less.

This, pretty much is what I’m saying.
