NFL 2012 Part 2

I know its hip now to bash Tebow and all but Id be pissed if I was in Tebow’s shoes. What the fuck was the point of signing him? Media attention? Throw off a couple of D-coordinators at the beginning of the year? He should just pack up and head to Jacksonville. You cant really say he is heading into a worse condition if he does.

Derek, Ive heard several writers and commentators say that Reid in Dallas isnt that unlikely. What are your thoughts on that idea?
If I were Derek, and Andy Reid stepped in as my head coach, I’d give up and become a Texan fan. But that’s me. I feel really, really bad for Reid. I think his shit year is largely due to his son’s death and his team gave up on him, but I don’t think he’s all that. I don’t think he gets the best out of his players and there’s a whole lot of ‘quit’ going on in Dallas as is.

If Sean Peyton came in, then I’d be happy.

And fuck the Tebow bashers. He ain’t pretty, his motion is all wrong, blah, blah, blah…He wins games. All he needs is the right coach to believe in him and I think he will thrive.

I wish the Jets would release him. They are such liars and Ryan is a first class prick.

He better wear riot gear the first time he goes back to the Linc. The batteries will be flying.
I seriously wish people would be done with all the shit teams in the NFC east already. Include the jets in that too. I dont think there has ever been more made of sorry ass irrelevant teams ever.

I included the the stink ass tebow’s, i mean jets in that. the cowboys and eagles are are shit, im just sick of all those teams.

I would gladly listen to more giant, redskins talk, but it’s all eagles/cowboys/jets.

This is funny come from a fan of an irrelevant team. How a team in the NY Giants can be considered irrelevant boggles my mind, like them or hate them the Cowboys will never become irrelevant.

Dont blame the Jets on their relevancy blame ESPN, and haters like yourself

Fair point. I will talk about any team, I do not just talk about the ones you listed.

So I know your views on Shurmer so who would you like to see?

Oh man, the Jets.

As a fan (harder to call myself one these days), my predictions for the the rest of the season.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN

 1. At least one of Ryan (and I do like him), Tanny or Sanchez should go.

 2. Tebow should of course go. I like the kid, but other than Woody no one else at the Jets wants him.

 3. Start rebuilding - beginning with the O-line and LBs, and someone to take over/challenge Sanchez.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN

 1. Courtesy of a soft schedule Jets will finish 7-9 or 8-8, which will make it seem their season was better than it really was.

 2. Tanny will come out and say, “If we’d had Revis and Holmes we’d have been playoff contenders”. Woody will buy this bullshit and retain Rex, Tanny and Sanchez.

 3. Jets fans will bash their heads hard against the nearest wall and ready themselves for more of the same shit in 2013.

the giants and redskins are the only relevant and interesting teams in the nfc east. I’ll listen/read about Eli and RG3 all day. For some reason tho, all over the media and seemingly this forum it’s all about the shitty cowboys, and even shittier eagles. Having those 2 stink ass team playing on sunday night dint help the matter.

also, i used to feel pretty indifferent about the jets; until espin decided to make them the most important team in the land. So you’re right in that regard. What difference does it make who starts this week for the jets, they suck and will probably lose to the jags anyways. Even with the Browns playing the Chiefs, jets v jags is still the “who sucks the most” game of the week.

If the Browns had a decent head coach, they would have beaten both the eagles and cowboys, but Shurmur sucks and will be gone at the end of the year.

Chargers will fire AJ Smith and Norv at the end of the season… FINALLY!!! This is 3-4 years overdue but I’m glad.

While they’re at it they need to get rid of Rivers.

I think this is a terrible idea… anyone else believe this could happen.

Wrecks Ryan may be the stupidest coach in history
He actually wasn’t bad as a defensive coordinator but as a head coach…holy shitballs he’s awful.

I’m just a nervous Texans fan hoping we do well against the Patriots.

Personally, I think that Luck and RGBIII have had phenomenal years. I feel like Luck probably had a better team to work with, so he’ll get the nod. Can’t say what would have happened if it was reversed.

I don’t know about Tebow winning games…how many quarters has he played? I don’t think we’ve seen enough of him in action to really know. But why the hell did they even sign him if they didn’t mean to play him?

LOL I cant argue with anything there…FTR as a Jet fan, I hope they lose every game the rest of the year so my idiot head coach cant claim successes when there isnt any.

Ill take Norv as my OC and Rivers as my QB here in NY

Norv will make a good fit wherever he goes as an OC. He has made some pretty stupid calls this year, but probably from having too much on his plate as being a head coach.

I’m not giving up on Rivers yet. He does have a terrible O-line where both Tackles are out for the year which doesn’t help. He still seems to make some stupid mistakes. If he can rectify those bad mistakes he can put himself back to where he was two years ago.

So go ahead and take Norv but not Rivers.

Why can’t the Chargers ever draft a guy like Von Miller? The dude is a stud. Would love to have a pass rusher like that.

You’d take Doug Flutie if he wanted to come out of retirement.

The Jet’s stink as bad as Rex Ryan’s arm pits.
