NFL 2012 Part 2

Actually he reminds me more of Irvin but maybe that is the number. Owens was not as aggressive to go after the ball, he was more a yard after catch, if you hit him in stride. Dez is more attack the ball like Irvin was, he would dog fight you to get the ball.
If you had control over the Cowboys, what would you like to see happen there? What would you do? I am curious what you think is wrong.
First get back to the basics. Online and Dline need over hauled, early picks for lineman. Trade or drop Felix, bring in consultants in scout department. Get an old crusty coach to consult Garrett and make him get an OC so Garrett can be a HC.

Lol have a better chance of a blowjob by Salma then JJ getting a GM. But yes if I was owner that is #1

Disappointing game as a Niners fan, almost though we were going to see another tie.

Right now, Kap is not the answer. I don’t think he’s ready and his innacuracy on a few wide open pass plays definitely cost them that game. Harbaugh could really be screwing the team with this coaching move. I like Kap and was high on him coming out of college but he’s not ready and isn’t going to win games for us with his arm.
Kaepernick and Niners will be just fine. He made some poor decisions a couple times, but for every open throw he missed, which I only remember two of, he completed another throw that Smith does not ever pull the trigger on.

Plus, the guy responded well when faced with adversity, especially after the errant pitch to Ginn, which was a fucking stupid play call in that situation. After the fumble recovery he simply takes the team right back down the field for the go-ahead FG.

On top of that, the guy can make something out nothing, and Smith simply cannot do that and never has. Smith is horrible at escaping pressure in the pocket. However many sacks Kaepernick took could easily be doubled with Smith in there. Kaepernick doesn’t give any indication of being the type of player who doesn’t learn from his mistakes. I don’t think we’ll ever see him fail to stay in bounds late in the game like he did on that last drive in regulation.

And if Kaepernick can play with the same mental acumen that Smith does, then there is absolutely NOTHING that Smith does better than Kaepernick which means that there is NO reason to give Smith the nod. In a close, tight game against a quality team, I’ll still take Kaepernick, right now, over Smith if for no other reason than Kaepernick can make shit happen out there and Smith can’t.
Did you know Kaepernick had a 4.3 GPA coming out of HS and did pretty good academically at Nevada? The guy is smart and athletic. Deadly combo.

Alex Smith needs to STFU and stop whining. He plays for an organisation - his responsibilities are to the team. No one gives a crap if you’re “frustrated” because you want to play. You have a quality coach who is responsible for turning around your team when he took the position so you listen to him and respect his decisions, because let’s face it, you weren’t the most popular player among the fans before Harbaugh came along and coached you up.

I can’t believe some Niner fans are actually on Smith’s side now and are critising Harbaugh with shit like “I thought Smith was your QB Harbaugh”; “you’re ruining Smith’s confidence Harbaugh.”

San Francisco doesn’t deserve the amount of sports team it has. Bunch of high and tipsy fuckers.

LOL he got paid money to write “I don’t like tattoos” over and over again with different words LOLOLOLOLOL

Man I’m on the edge regarding Rookie of the Year. Both RG3 and Luck deserve it. The next couple of games will obviously determine who will eventually win it but as of right now I have to give the edge to Luck. I don’t think anyone expected him to lead the Colts to the winning record they have right now. Analysts were saying he was going to have 6-9 wins - the Colts are on par for 10,11 and potentially 12 (who knows) wins in the regular season.

If there was a most exciting player award I think it goes to RG3 no doubt though.

Shit man I can’t agree with you more regarding how damned exciting these two rookies are. Been a fun thing to watch for sure.

How can you not put Russel Wilson in the conversation as well? Luck has thrown for a lot more yards than Griffin and Wilson, but Wilson and Griffin have a lot better TD to Interception ratio. I think any of the three guys deserve the award so far.

You’re right, Russell Wilson and the Muscle Hamster also deserve mentions.

I’d keep Garret as a coach, just not the HC. I would scrap and trade as many players as I could for as many draft picks as I could get and rebuild. Start by getting Klein.

“You can’t fix stupid” That’s what I think about the author. Hell tattoos are so common now, I hardly notice them.

Yeah, it’s a toss up. RG3 is more fun, but Luck flat gets it done.
Of course, RG3 had the worlds luckiest fumble last night. You couldn’t repeat that if you tried a million times.

Really? I dont think Klein or Jesus Christ could be more productive than Romo behind that line. Look how much better Romo did Sunday with a running game. Doesnt need a total over haul just more depth and quality at the o and d line

I just think it’s time to rebuild. It’s nothing against Romo per se except that he part of the old guard. That being said, Romo has a penchant for crumbling at the most critical moment. Or he will play the game 99% perfect, but the 1% he didn’t just happens to be the game winning drive for the other team.

I agree o-line and d-line refresh is badly needed. I know we pretty much need a whole new o-line in Atl too. But this year we have to make it work, even though Ryan has about 1 second in the pocket on average.

Problem is Pat they have “rebuilt” already twice since Jimmy built it. If the carpenter is slant eyed and one leg shorter than another he is not going to build a better house. JJ just cant do it like a true GM so what is the fucking point of blowing it up again. We will be in the same position in 5 years as we are now.

Well, I agree with you there, that’s why I started with yall getting a proper GM.

Hey, you could be the Jets. Wrecks Ryan may be the stupidest coach in history. Definitely the most spineless. Just say what you mean, geez, all the QB gymnastics are so transparent.
Why don’t they just release Tebow? It’s clear they do not want him, just let him go and have a chance to sign with somebody else.

I know its hip now to bash Tebow and all but Id be pissed if I was in Tebow’s shoes. What the fuck was the point of signing him? Media attention? Throw off a couple of D-coordinators at the beginning of the year? He should just pack up and head to Jacksonville. You cant really say he is heading into a worse condition if he does.

Derek, Ive heard several writers and commentators say that Reid in Dallas isnt that unlikely. What are your thoughts on that idea?

He better wear riot gear the first time he goes back to the Linc. The batteries will be flying.
