Lol nope! Then again, I do tend to antagonize/argue/devilsadvocate in these sport-type threads.
All in the name of discussion of course, but I can’t be surprised when its not taken that way.
Speaking of which, can someone PLEASE tell DBC that if he thinks his SF defense will stay as healthy as they did last year, ALL YEAR, then he’s really on one…

Decastro, while a complete stud, is a Guard. Top guards and centers rarely go top 10. A team is better with an elite left tackle than an elite left guard, although they are all nice luxuries to have. Steelers got the steal of the day, which is why they are strong year after year.
My Pats finally traded up and really solidified the front seven. Must be realizing that the Brady window is rapidly closing and the time to go for it is here.
I was hoping to see the home team Cardinals trade down to get a 2nd round pick this draft, but Floyd is a nice pickup and it’s always good to have someone to divert the attention from Larry.
As a long time Patriots fan I loved the first round…for once. Not to say they have all been mishaps, but still. I am hoping for a safety and CB in the last 2 picks

Dang what happened with these boards? Threads like this use to go off. Like nobody is here anymore.
Anyways, I’m happy with the Chargers pick. It’s not a risky pick like A.J. has done in the past and failed at miserably.
Most of us are on another place where we were talking about the draft as it went along.
Ok that makes sense, cause I was just as puzzled as strungoutboy.
Alrighty then, back to the NBA…

Apparently we weren’t cool enough to go!
Nothing to do with it, this is from other parts of the site, so we kind of have a thing going some where else. I guarantee most of us will be back in this thread during the season.
Viking Fan Here, So far liking the picks. We need a couple of WR’s and DB’s but we need so much it doesn’t matter.
I think Cleveland was afraid that TB was going to deal with Minn and jump them to get to Richardson. They were just trying to lock it down, lucky for me.
Boring but awesome for the Steelers. Big Ben should be a happy camper today. On paper it means Ben should have more time in the pocket and stay cleaner but maybe more importantly it means the running game has a new road grader to open holes.
Hereâ??s what Andrew Luck had to say about him(DeCastro): “He is so serious he sometimes thinks a high five after a touchdown is too frivolous because it might break concentration.”
Sounds like he has the right disposition for the AFC North division.
Browns second pick lastnight was puzzling.
Fucking wheelin-dealin’ Jerry Jones does it again.
I’m glad they didn’t show the phone calls and spoiled the announcement like they said they would.
I’m officially confused. I get the pick at 22, but now this pick at 37 has me just completely boggled. There’s still some good receivers available; I thought the entire reason we grabbed Weeden at 22 was because he was less likely to be available(or a QB as good as him) at 37 than a receiver(Jeffries, Hill, Broyles, or Fleener as a great receiving TE), but then we REACH for a tackle?
Steelers definitely having one of the best drafts filling a lot of their needs. I’m hoping for a CB, RB, FB, K, and possibly S with our last picks. I believe Alameda Ta’amu, DT from Washington will be a great replacement for Hampton.

I am really excited about this Rainey guy. Pittsburgh has a stable of big body backs but no real burner or scat back, Batch is quick but not this quick, now they do. Haley and Kugler I gotta believe are over the moon right now. This O-Line is hopefully going to turn into a strength and not a weakness, maybe even this year. Well the bar is set pretty low lol, Foster and Kemo were awfull.
I also like that two of the players selected were captains of their respective teams.

Can we all just take a step back and soak in the thought that the Jags took a punter in the 3rd round?
I’m just glad it wasn’t us this time. Tomlin traded up in the 4th round a few years ago for Daniel Supulveda. In Tomlin’s defense, it was his first draft.
Love the way the draft turned out. Hopefully Mike Adams is not a complete fucking asshole, which is what I automatically assume when someone fails the combine drug test. He has skills.
Ta’amu is a great pick as well. Good value in the 4th round, considering I and a few others had him going to Pittsburgh in the second.
None of this matters until they put pads on and hit someone though. We’ll see what happens in August.
