I still don’t understand how Dontari Poe is getting ranked higher than Still out of Penn State and Worthy out of Michigan State.
Both those guys are motherfuckers and Poe’s real claim to fame was his combine.
guess that’s why I’m not a scout, lol.
As for Osweiler, I think he’ll be serviceable but he’s not elite. His size lends him more to a pocket passing team as his mobility might be hampered. But with time that dude should be able to sling it.
Gregg Williams is officially the biggest punk bitch in the history of sports. This guy should have criminal charges pressed against him. Where else in life can you pay someone to injure someone else and put them in the hospital without getting arrested? If Williams’ actions took place anywhere else but within football, or sports in general, he would have committed a felony in all 50 states. Is there any defense of this at all?

DB are you about done with that ghey ass Avi?
Greg Williams crossed the line, however its football and some of his comments will be blown up for more than what it is IMO.
I have to sport it until Opening Day of the baseball season, which for me isn’t until Friday when the Giants open up. I think maybe it was supposed to be until the 1st of April but the original bet I threw out there was Opening Day so I’m sticking by it. I actually don’t mind this avatar at all. Irish could have chosen something much worse.
Williams definitely crossed a line. Given the way the NFL has treated concussions and given that there have been a LOT of former players speaking about the later effects, for him to PAY his players to target players for head injuries and to specifically target players with a history of them is beyond classless. This guy is a thug. He didn’t say this shit with a hidden microphone in the room; he said it right into a fucking camera. He got caught because he got cocky and complacent. And he got cocky and complacent because this has been going on with him for so long now without getting caught that he got lazy. That and/or sheer stupidity is how everyone gets caught at everything. And judging by the coverage he didn’t roll toward Davis on that fateful TD pass in the playoffs, he’s stupid as shit too.
What really gets me about this is that it’s a coach who’s writing all these checks but he doesn’t have to cash them. He doesn’t have to buckle the chinstrap on, he just has to puff his chest up like a fucking adder and put on a big show of false bravado. It would be one thing if this was a tape of a player saying this in a players-only meeting. But for a coach to talk this way who didn’t even play in the NFL, or anywhere else for that matter.
^ I agree never liked the guy, like I said the look during the SB the year the Saints won with him up in the stands, kicking back with all the reporters around him he just came off as the biggest douchebag
Wow. Gregg Williams is a scumbag. Specifically targeting player body parts and trying to injure and cause concussions is reprehensible. He should be banned for a very very long time. Though I’m sure he isn’t the only coordinator talking like that.
I dont want to sound crazy here but does anybody else think its fishy that on the day of Appeal that this was leaked? Its hard to see how anybody can still defend the Saints after this.

Tannehill looks alright but I wouldn’t take him anywhere near 8. I think there’s a few other QB’s in the draft who could well too, Kirk Cousins and Kellen Moore.

Kellen Moore is not going to make it in the NFL. Dude is WAY to small, he is not Doug Flutie and I honestly dont know if Flutie could survive in todays NFL.
Squats and Milk lol
Yeah I do see your point with Moore but for some reason I just have a feeling about him being a bit of a sleeper. Although I suppose after Pat White us Dolphins fans should be pretty wary of undersized quarterbacks.

Exactly the QB from Wisconsin is the same height as Moore, but he is way thicker in the lower body and shoulders, he has SEEN a weight room. Moore looks like a average guy, he is talented no doubt but dude is going to be a back up and then coach some day.

No shit.

Not that being small can’t be a negative thing, but White’s size had nothing to do with that play/hit. He could’ve been 400 lbs with the thickest neck in the NFL and still been out after a direct shot to the side of the helmet. If I’m referencing small QBs and how afraid I am of them being injury prone I’m looking straight at Mike Vick, who routinely misses games because late in the season he can’t take the punishment from having a handful of carries a game. Meanwhile, QBs that aren’t rail thin stand in the pocket and receive hits just as hard and just as often and manage to play out season after season.
Mike Vick is almost always moving at a high rate of speed which increases the violent nature of the hits. I would argue it’s more style of play, than his size.

Well, shit. That seems pretty cheap for a lion skin rug.
