NFL 2011 Season Starts Now

Cam goes OFFFFFF, Philly wins and the Boys lose – more than I could have hoped for. Wow.

Hey, the Texans played some high school team and actually did pretty well!

To DJ and any other Cowboy fans…

WHO THE FUCK IS SEAN LEE??? he was all over the place. It also seems like you guys need a big back for those tough yards Tashard Choice isnt the right choice in those situations. Was Revis’ pick Bryants fault, it seems as if there was some confusion.

Rob Ryan was cursing at someone after the game.

After Revis took on Bryant, he was unheard from…

Edit…Sweet revenge for Nick Folk… I have 0 confidence in.

Love you Mark
It looks like it was Bryant’s fault. And he got injured, maybe that was why he wasn’t playing up to par?
Yeah it seemed as if he ran the wrong route, I believe he Bryant had leg cramps in the third quarter,.
Well now all the people who do not understand the game will say Romo choked and he needs replaced etc. Of course this will all be people who did not watch the game and will be going off the highlights that only show the end of the play and not the endzone coaches view that shows Bryant ran the route wrong. But this is nothing new on Romo hate.

Matty Sean Lee was a second round pick last year out of Penn state, kid has great upside and has basically replaced Keith Brooking.

We have who starting at CB? McCan, Ball and McCray. Yes those are house hold names.
This was my biggest worry again for this season we have NO depth in secondary and like any good QB Sanchez took advantage of it last night. I am actually surprised it was not worse.

I had predicted 24-21 Jets okay well I did predict the 3 point win.

The Jets showed that (at least at this point) a solid consistant pass D will slow them down. The Boys have a bunch of backups in their D backfield. (Much like the Pats, lol)

But…

It is getting harder and harder to NOT route for the Jets.

As for Romo, yeah the fumble was a blooper, and the snap at the end of the game a boner move, but he was trying to make something happen. The pass to ** that Revis picked was a fuck up on everyone’s part, IMO. ** shouldn’t be returning kicks, and got hurt doing so, and it cost them the game, because he was beating Revis until he got hurt.

The Boys looked good for 55 mins, the Jets played hard as hell and came out on top. They got a little help, but played well enough to take that help and make it a win. Not every team can say that every week.

I don’t think I’ll ever drink Sanchez Kool-aid.

I don’t like his footwork or the way he hangs his recievers out to dry. And those swing passes to LT… Just ugly to watch.

Hey did you guys know that Rex and Rob were twins? OMG I had no idea until Al Michaels and the rest of Fooball night in America mentioned it right around 500 times.

Hahahahahaahahahahaa Thanks Brad I needed a little pick me up. I will say again I FUCKING hate NBC.

Beans man I get to hear on Serius all fucking morning now how Dallas HAS to get rid of Romo, he is not an Elite QB. Fucking people think this is Fantasy Football, and JJ can just tell Romo to fuck off and go to the local supermarket and find the next Kurt Warner bagging fucking groceries.

It was a great game, Jets made plays, Cowboys did not. Simple.

It is also the first fucking game.

To quote someone else “you want to crown their ass then crown their ass”.

Talking heads are just that, talking heads.

He dropped the ball for sure, but he can win & could have won if the D stayed stellar. They didn’t and he had to make everything happen himself, which is impossible.

Listening to Bob Papa and Ross Tucker and I love these two guys, they like football (Tucker actually played for the Boys) and they are objective.

Its the stupid fucking callers that kill me, Cowboys fans calling in with what “they would do to fix the problems”.

Yes JJ should fire Garrett and hire Bob the builder from Texarkana who works at the local scrap yard who saw Ryan Mallet since he was in 7th grade and he is an Elite QB.

Okay, I just woke up from an unreasonably late night of the game followed by the nonsense that accompanies such.

Anyway–honestly, that was a truly epic game, and in many ways a horrible game. Seriously, I’m still nauseous from the emotional rollercoaster that accompanied watching it. Jets played a mediocre game, interspersed with stupid mistakes and occasional highlights. Thankfully, the Cowboys made some glaring errors, and, to their credit, the Jets managed to exploit a few of those in the most productive way possible.

I guess it’s nice to come from behind, and it’s great to be able to do it consistently, but I’d just like to have some faith in the offense.

Look, I’ll take the W. I’ll ALWAYS take it–but I’m not especially proud. I sat front fucking row at the game, I watched the lunacy unfold…and any Jet fan who is “proud” of the win or the way it was achieved simply wasn’t watching to same game I was.

I lost at least 2 years of my life.

Hahahahahahahaahahaaha I feel your pain John to tell you the truth these are two teams basically on the same “path”, they really do mirror each other in certain ways.

I don’t know whats’ more frustrating, listening to callers talk about how they would fix the current problems, or listening to Mike Greenberg jizz himself over the Jets every morning.

As I get older I’m becoming less fond of listening to sports talk radio or any pre/post-game shows.

Brad only thing I really listen to is Serius Sat, cause they have really good crews on in my opinion, and then NFL total access. That is about it for the NFL, cause it is more and more about just stupid superficial brain dead rating grabbing crap.

I used to like Mike and Mike, but after a couple of years I cant do it any longer.

Hey WC you ready for this week?

I get Matty week one Jets at Dallas and I played him in Fantasy. I wonder if I play you and the Boys are playing the 49rs. Weird possibility.

Fuck Cam Newton.

Morning Greg.

haha morning!

some really good games yesterday. (sorry about your boys. Dez did get me 13 points for my fantasy league though)

San Francisco kicked off their march to a perfect season yesterday. NFC West has been put on notice!

one game doesnt make him a stud. Vince Young had more than 1 spectacular game and his ass is riding the bench after being cut. Newtons completion percentage was in the 30’s for all his pre season reps… I seriously doubt he stays in the 65% range like he was yesterday.

oh yeah and they lost

I know, right?

Know who looks like they’re in real trouble? Like, “oh shit these guys are in for it” trouble?

Pittsburg.

B-more put’em to work and didn’t let up. Lots of little skermishes and fights throughout the game too, showing that P-burg was frustrated and couldn’t stack up.

Just try and tell me the Harbaugh brothers aren’t AWESOME for NFL football. These guys are old school, and the NFL is trending back to the game I love to see.
