WHAT A SHITTY PLAY!!! I just saw it, I read that the saints have a horrible run offense at the goal line … so what do they do they run the ball up the gut to a rookie…shit maybe a little play action or something…

To be fair, that situation in itself is bullshit.
IDGAF what the officiating crew said, that punt was down at the 1.
Also, if that was “pass interference” by AJ Hawk then I pretty much quit football forever.
Ridiculous.
whatever the case may be, the situation knowing the saints weaknesses (running at the goal line) and their strength (drew fucking brees) you think they would use their strength.
It would have been nice to watch that game if the fucking power wasn’t out everywhere!!! Bullshit!! Listening to a game on the radio isn’t very fun at all. It sounded like Sproles went off. Good for him. Saints were smart to drop Bush and sign him.
I was listening to Boomer Esiason on the radio and he was saying the game was sloppy with all the missed tackles.

I’ve gotta say, I can usually detect my fandom-ness with a lot of crap I spew, but I’ve gotta believe I saw any other linebacker making that play, for any other team in the league, I’d still protest there. Look, he made a play on the ball, at that point he had done nothing to make the ability for Sproles to catch the ball worse - but rather had totally jumped the play to begin with. Sproles was already falling back and tucking in when he leaped. Watch the play again… I know I have probably 30 times today. That was not pass interference - and I’m glad a lot of the analysts agree to.
This may be one of those things we’d be unable to see eye-to-eye on, but I just don’t know how else a linebacker could have ever played the ball better than he did.
Matty, you worried about Jets/Cowboys? I’m not liking how Witten matches up. Other than that feeling good.

Have not watched it since live. All the analysts I have heard most X players say it was PI.
Didnt he go through Sproiles? Can not do that.
Plus I was just fucking with you have no real opinion.

You should feel good. We have 1 yes 1 returning lineman. We got Free and Daryl, Daryl and my other brother Daryl. We are fucked hard with no KY.

I do John which scares the crap out of me. Dallas w/o Newman and Bennett and a young offensive line…Santonio is gonna go nuts!
Witten is a tough matchup but I think Bart and Harris will be up to the task, though they are susceptible against the pass.
Jets 27 Dallas 17!
LOCK IT UP!!!
Haha I was thinking Jets 17 Dallas 10. But you make a great point. Gonna be a fun game.

I think it will be a little higher scoring as both defenses will have to settle in.
I’ll take the 'Boys, 31-28.
Ill take 30-21 Jets. Dallas has the worst pass defense in the league. Jets will exploit it. I think it will turn into a passing game since both have solid run defenses. But with 9/11 and home field, Jets will have alot more to play for.

That was last year farmer, it will take a few games for Ryans style of Defense to take hold. However we do have one of the best pass rushers in the league.
Jets 24 Dallas 21
I just dont like our OL to hold up.

I agree with Rex’s defense needing some time to shape up. As far as for Dallas, Ill just have to see. Im not convinced yet they there will be much difference. I do think that Rob will do some great things for yall though but I dont think that will happen for a few weeks. Yall do have a pretty good schedule up until the bye week so that will give yall some time to adjust. I can see a 8-8 or 9-7 season. But like you said, the O-line is scary. Hopefully they can keep Romo healthy.

Found you Matty. You gotta damn good looking wife.
Not to worried about Witten as much as I am about Jones. I know we’ll stuff the inside run down, but he has the speed to get to the corner.
We win this yr w/defense & special teams. Just my prediction. I mean that for the entire yr. Greene hasn’t impressed me at all & until Plax & Mason really get comfortable w/the O which is a lot of formations… Thanks Shitty. They run about 6 plays out of 558 formations. If Shitty screws the pooch this yr, he needs to be fired.

Being Canadian I was reluctant to bring that up, not sure how you guys would react. That place will be an emotional roller coaster for all involved at first but I expect both teams to settle in quickly and the best team will win, not the one most inspired buy the events. Jets are a better team right now no matter what day it is on the calender. It is opening weekend so you never know. 23 hours away!

Yeah it sure will, but once the remembrance ceremonies end it’ll all be about football, I really think the Cowboys have something to prove and will be alot better than people predict…I love Garrett and he has the perfect mix of players playing for him and being a real football genius. Its just that damn O-line!
