I expected Norv to get fired, but I guess that is not the case. I guess winning games when it doesn’t matter is ok. I’m expecting another season of mediocrity.

I’m sure you guys have already talked coaching changes, and the lack thereof.

Norv Turner staying in SD is def surprising. Also don’t understand why DAL doesnt bring in Jeff Fisher already.

But nothing is more outrageous than NYJ keeping OC-Schottenheimer in the fold…

I dont get it either? They’ve had some questionable (at best) first round draft picks recently and have had mediocre performances over the past couple years but they dont make a change? The SuperBowl window has closed on San Diego IMO and they’re just digging themselves a bigger ditch by keeping those two idiots.

Well, now that AJ and Norv are still here, lets place bets on how they’ll draft.

A smart man drafts OL and there’s some real quality out there this year.

Knowing AJ and Norv though? Some obscure DB or WR will get the nod. Gregs’ right, their window is closed. They’ll be lucky to compete for the AFC West at all, not to mention the wild card. Oaktown found their QB, Denver believes in thiers, and KC is going to be smart about game plan and personnel and will do their damndest to stay healthy. We’ll see.

SD isn’t in cakewalk territory anymore.

I have said it before just like Dallas the talent is over rated in SD. AJ is a prick and arrogant, I think Norv worked with the best he could. But the team and coaching staff have been picked clean.

Thing is, Norv is a great tactician.

He needs a big bat on his staff though.

His whole staff are good men, nice guys. Get the job done and get the team ready blablablabla.

What I’d like to see, though, is a couple guys on the staff that know how to peg the engine and make shit mighty uncomfortable for the players who don’t go there with him.

And to Make Garay shave all that bullshit off his face. What a stinking clown. Wrong way to get attention homey.

^ kind of like Wade great coordinator maybe not best HC

imo probably to the Rams.

well GM of Bears is gone (Jerry Angelo), no problem with that.

Mike Martz resigned as OC of the Bears, no idea what that’s about, like if he was forced to resign or not… I’m not a huge fan of Martz but I feel he’s a great match for Cutler. Not to mention that offensively, the Bears were much-improved this season.

Id guess Rams also. Its a great opportunity for Fisher to take advantage of. With a high pick QB coming back, top 3 draft pick, and high cap room, he will probably head that way.

^Seems Fischer is leaning towards the Dolphins. Ex GM Carl Peterson was there too to get a feel on how they would get along & work together.

EDIT- The Dolphins also had a top 10 def. decent WR’s & a fairly good running game. Bush was a pleasant surprise. The only thing missing is a QB. Maybe a yr under Moore’s belt will help or they draft one. Either way Mia. will win faster than STL.

I say Stl myself, he had to face Manning twice a year so now he would be facing Brady twice a year in Miami.

Stl defense is better than people think and Bradford will develop fine if they get him some weapons.

^You guys do realize that Fischer hasn’t been asked to interview in Stl?

Yep, couple upsets in there. Lots of injuries to go around and we’ll see who can play thorough the pain but to me, the playoffs is where the teams with the greatest mental toughness usually win. It’s only good teams that are left so you’re going to have to absorb some blows and shake them off.

The Bengals @ Texans will probably go down to the wire, interesting game. Foster has to dominate to give his QB a chance. Benson is no slouch either, a black and blue matchup for sure.

Game of the week will be the Lions @ Saints. Late game on a saturday night that dome will be insane along with the over under.

I want Atlanta to win only because I’m sick of Coughlins crybaby fuckin’ face on TV. Sorry Matty but it’s got to be said lol.

I just don’t see the Broncos winning this week but I will reserve the right to be shitting my pants at the 2:00 mark on Sunday. Get ready for an ugly game.

This Redman dude(#33) who is playing for the injured Mendenhall is one tough cat to bring down and should be a treat to watch this week, bit of a butterfingers this past week though.

Hines Ward gets to 1000 receptions this past week as well. Love him or loath him he just might get into the HOF. Not bad for a QB out of Georgia

Ike Taylor being left off the Pro Bowl roster was ridiculous, plain and simple. I blame the players but honestly I don’t think they give a fuck unless it triggers a bonus clause in their contract.
This is the expression I was going for…whaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaa!

I do think he’s a pretty good coach he just whines too much. Him and coach Harbaugh for the Ravens are the worst imo.

Yet.

I also thought he had?

What about Tampa? Young QB

I believe he has print. Word was yesterday that he interviewed in Miami and later in the week he was lined up for Stl.

If I’m wrong and he isn’t lined up, he will be. He is the most sought after FA coach out there right now. They will at least entertain the idea and get him in for a chat.

I’d like to see SF beat NO…but I’m just not sure. The Pack are too good. If they can keep getting a few turnovers a game, they will keep winning. Watching that game against the lions was nuts. Flynn had himself an amazing game.
I can’t figure out if Pitt is really that bad w/a hurt Ben, or Cle. def. was that good.
Two fumbles in the second half by Redman. Turnovers have been killing the Steelers all year.

I liked Hines Ward a lot more before this season. It was pathetic watching him get his 1000th catch on a fucking shovel pass that went for -3. Chasing arbitrary statistical “achievements” to the detriment of the team goes against everything I thought he stood for.
In his defense SN, I think it was his teamates who were more jacked about the record than he was. I missed the game so I really can’t say much as far as how cheesy it seemed on TV.

Turnovers and lack of turnovers have been a problem all year no doubt. If Ike had hands he would have six or seven a year.

I hope Redmans fumbleitis was a one day sickness cause they are going to need him, kinda thin at RB right now. I wouldn’t be surprised if BA asks Ben to throw fifty times this week. One week I like his play calling and the next week I want him strung up lol. Can’t stand the empty backfield plays he calls.

I can’t decide on whats been more frustrating this year, lack of turnovers or red zone offence. They need to target that beanpole TE Saunders more next year, I’m excited to see what he can do with more coaching and experiance.

Good point DJ. Tampa and Miami are in elite divisions that have high power leading teams with lower ranked teams rising in ability. NFC W is just a up for grabs for any team.

Really? I musta missed that. I looked around & still couldn’t find it anywhere. That being said, I think Mia. would be a better destination than Stl. Stl just doesn’t excite me. Besides the Arch & Jack n a Box what else they got? Especially now that Pujols is gone.

How bout Polian in Chi.? Might not be a bad fit.
