NFL 2011 Part III

Indy GM Polian was just fired. Put this on record; Manning will NOT be a Colt next year. Luck is now their future.

^ I posted about Indy a few posts up.

So I wonder who will hire Polian?

Oh…well…I know someone with the last name Manning so that makes my statement better.

I’m not sure who will look his way. I wonder if this season will make him untouchable. Plus, other than a team like St. Louis or San Diego, I don’t know if any team is looking for a GM.

I’m not sold on New Orleans on the road not playing in a dome. All of their losses this year were on the road.

AFC
Houston def Cinci
Pit def Denver

NFC
NO def Detroit
Giants def Atlanta

Other than the recent New Orleans game, Atlanta does seem to be playing better, but I doubt even they could come back from a loss in the first round of the playoffs and still play in the divisional round.

There’s no way New Orleans is going to go into Candlestick and take down the Niners. They aren’t good on the road and aren’t nearly as battle-tested as the Niners are. Plus, Candlestick is a really tough field for a turf team to play on in January. The tide’s gonna roll in and that field, which sits several feet below sea-level, is going to get sloppy. New Orleans is too vanilla to beat the Niners in their park, playing on their terms.

NFC: NO def Det, NY def Atl
SF def NO, NY def GB
SF def NY

AFC: Pitt def Den, Cin def Hou
Bal def Pitt, NE def Cin
Bal def NE

SF defeats Bal

Prediction for 1st Rd:

AFC: Cin def Hou. Jesus def Pitt

NFC: NO def Det. Atl def NYG

I have huge doubts in Atlanta’s ability to win @NY. Similarly, NO @SF in rd2, DB already covered that.

If Ben isn’t healthy(also, Pit would have to get through Baltimore), I dunno that I think any of those AFC teams have the passing attack to take advantage of NE’s weakness(are we gonna count on Dalton/Green to take on that challenge as rookies?)

Really hoping to see an SF @ GB matchup, want to see that secondary+line vs that offense, not sure who I’d pick, and the outcome would obviously completely change the dynamic of a matchup with NE in the super bowl should that pan out.

Giants are healthy now. D line has all hands on deck. Should be plenty of good games in the NFC.

You couldnt pay me to watch the Cincinatti vs Houston game.

Every week I get more and more disgusted with the Patriots defense. The playoffs for them will be the first team to punt loses. NO and GB will clean their clock.

:stuck_out_tongue: asshole

Ill be pulling or the Bengals in the AFC, In the NFC I think the Giants will handily defeat the Falcons and bow out after that. Im not a believer in Ryan and believe Turner’s running style will make the Giants run D look better than it is. The Giants will get to Matty “Ice” which will neutralize the Falcons passing game a bit. The Giants O line has looked better the past 2 weeks and will play well next week.

Giants 27 Falcons 17

What about your secondary Matty?

Giants have played well in division but not so well out of it.

I kind of hope they win only to make the NFC East look better, cause on a whole our division sucked this year

Oh it sucks I know, but I believe the Giants front line will get to Ryan enough to neutralize the passing game. Tuck, Osi and JPP are running on all cylinders now and that is real tough to stop

Why you going for Cinci?

No Texas love
