NFL 2011 Part III

You both makes good points.

Sanchez needs A LOT more protection to get better, so I think we just need to get started and draft a right tackle over ANY other priority next year.

Still, Marky is good. He’s not terrible. He’s not great. He’s a generally solid, middle of the pack QB with flashes of brilliance and plummets into ineptitude–both occurring with equal frequency.

When I say he’s “not the one” I mean he’s just not going to be the guy like Brady, or Rodgers. He’ll never be a QB that other teams fear. And that’s okay.

Anyplace other than NY and he’d be okay…this town is just like eating him alive.

With a great team around him, sure, he can win.
`
He’s a sweetheart of a guy and I really want him to succeed.

Anyway, Keller’s wife: basically she said the same thing all of us say.

What I do know is that Keller and Sanchez are off the field boys. hang out all the time, totally got each others backs etc.

But, if DKs wife is bitching, then chances are DK is bitching to her. Which is a pretty big indictment on Sanchez.

Okay question, which two games?

As a Cowboy fan who watches every game in depth, our most glaring weakness has been our defense. Yes Romo has made some bad plays but name me one QB that has 16 perfect games?

We cant sit here and say that Tebow has won all those games by himself, so we also cant sit here and say that Romo has blown every game.

Just my .02

I say that Sanchize is not on the typical learning curve as most, he had a truncated college career and has been learning on the job. He had early success that was set up with the run. Normally takes 3 years as a starter to truly judge a QB, he may take an extra year or two. My .02

Whatever do you mean?[/quote]

Obviously that picture says a lot, but have any of you actually worn a legit pair of receivers mits? It’s retarded that that shit is legal, and yes it does make me think less of some of the ‘amazing’ catches in the modern game(there’s still some unbelievable grabs though, super glue gloves or not).

This has been statistically his best year 27 total TD’s and 13 Int, better than many, and yes he has even dissapointed me at times and there arent many stronger supporters than me out there. Everything else Passer rating and completion % are all on the uptick and he gets the job done in the 4th quarter people like to forget how efficient he is in the 4th quarter.

Non Jet fans dont realize how bad their right guard situation has been, Sanchez has been getting killed out there because of Wayne Hunter and admittedly he tends to turtle a bit after the 3rd or 4th crushing hit. He definitley needs to be a better pocket passer but when you add everything up, below avg O-line, up until recently bad running game and what some may consider a shit OC he has made progress in his third year.

He will never be Peyton, Tom or Aaron, but I believe there is an excellent possibility he can be in the second tier of NFL and he is better than just a game manager.

Hey I am a Cowboys fan Matty, you are not telling me anything I do not know.

Elite QB’s are a rare fucking occurrence, most people just do not fucking realize.

Left you a question in your log.

I am also a big fan of Romo, sometimes fans of any NFL team dont realize how good of a QB they have until its gone,

I went to eat at Chili’s tonight long day of work out of town.

STUPID fuckers at the bar were actually talking about how all Cowboys fans would rather have Tebow instead of Romo.

I paid my bill and fucking bounced before I ended up in jail.

you gotta be effing kidding me, Thats why I dont like to consider myself a fan, because only fans say stupid shit, lovers of their team are too cerebral for nonsense talk like that.

I shit you not.

Also and I quote “Elway was an okay QB but what did he ever do?”

Niners are looking impressive tonight. Looks like they have a good chance of getting that number two seed.

That’s pretty lame. There are stupid fans like that for every team. A Cowboys fan at my work was telling me the Chargers should get rid of Rivers next year and drop Barkley. This was during his bad stretch earlier this season. I just laughed and was like, do you realize how hard it is to get a good franchise QB.

I blame fantasy football.

I stopped going to the Cowboys website for the same shit.

I understand people just want there team to win all the time, but really. Like Philly fans that want to get rid of Reed, I do not like the Igles but they have done shit before Reed.

Big Ben looks like shit tonight.

I’m surprised he was still playing that late with that high ankle sprain.

Exactly, but I understand

…and that is how you get blown out. Turn the ball over and commit penalties. Picture fucking perfect.

I had to work and missed the game. Will not watch.

You aren’t the only one that missed it. I think half of Pittsburgh’s roster stayed home.

They outgained SF by 100 yds but turned the ball over 4 times. Once again the defense produced zero takeaways. Pittsburgh is now -11 in turnover differential this year, which is 3rd worst in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Niners are an amazing and league-leading +25.

Teams like the 2011 Steelers don’t win football games in January.
