Ah dammit, here I was hoping you guys took James Jones or something. :P
I would say that still may happen, but WR is not our problem in Dallas. Maybe straight up trade Roy for James.
Ehh⦠no thanks. Lol. I got to say Roy Williams throw away a lot of games for Detroit. So overrated!
As a UT fan yes he was a bust, honestly though guy is not a #1 and he is an over the middle position reciever. Problem is he thinks he is Jerry Rice. I really do not think he will be kept for next year.
Can you say anything about this new coach? I really liked the interview, I want a business type mentality in Dallas.

J.J. Watt, Wisconsin: He is a hard-working defensive end with outstanding size and length. His combination of height and arm length makes him an ideal candidate to play at the five-technique, but his motor, tenacity and toughness set him up for success. He outworks blockers at the point of attack, and his relentless effort routinely results in disruptive plays. As a pass rusher, his game is built on power and force. He attacks blockers with his hands and quickly uses an assortment of power moves to shed shortly after engagement. He combines those skills with a fanatical desire to the quarterback. His sacks are often the result of winning on second or third efforts, and that determination overwhelms blockers by gameās end. Against the run, Watt shows good strength and power at the point. He stacks and sheds quickly, and flashes sound instincts in finding the ball. Although there are others rushers in the draft with more athleticism and pizzazz, Wattās overall combination of skills will make him a coveted prospect.
^ and to top it all off, apparently his top end speed is nothing short of amazing, and we all know pursuit=90% of defense. they showed him running some pro agility drills and what not and he definitely can move, let alone for how big he is. pretty good draft overall this year, theres no obvious #1 (is there?) but it seems pretty deep at a lot of positions- just not QB
^Iāve seen that cat play. Heās high energy & a non-stop motor. Still think we should be looking for a plu-stopper in the middle. We need to get young across the def. line & no better place to start than rt over ctr. & if Jenkins is kept, (a 4.6mil this yr.) he could def. teach a youngster some old tricks.
QB seems weak this year, but I see they are already doing the Locker push. You watch they will be saying he is a potential franchize QB right before the draft. Is Ingram coming out this year?
I have not been reading all of this thread, any bears fans running rampant in here?
Whats everyones thoughts on people saying WR is a must for DA bears? I do not think that should be our top priority. Knox is still young, bennett can be a real good possession receiver and we can then diminish hester down to just some slot snaps and let him return. We really need to help the oline. Now if baldwin were available in the second round for us, snatch him up but i want pouncey in rd 1, he can play guard and then replace my guy kreutz.
Watt is gonna be real hit or miss i think. Hes a physical specimen thats for sure, and his motor is always running at 1342124324%. I hope he succeeds and he will definitely be a work out warrior if nothing else.
Yes ingram is in the draft, he should be the first RB off the board, unless someone falls in love with leshoure out of illinois, which i dont see happening. or the kid from OU.

What # does the bears have in the first round? Or Do they have a 1st round pick this year? I still think you need a power back also.

Dj, just fyi, but I think tomorrow they are showing Prince Amukamaraās workouts on sportcenter. If I can find a link after they show it Iāll post it up on here. Also, who would have thought Patrick Peterson would have fallen out of the top 3 projected?

No worries I DVR the combine, I also try to catch it online as much as possible also. I watched Prince play a few games this year and the kid is impressive for sure.
Still waiting to see if anybody knows who I am quoting?

Pretty hilarious/ridiculous comments by Newton. I honestly donāt think the 49ers will have a shot at him with the way things are progressing.
I heard Peter King talking about it this morning. I mean it was during a discussion about his new under armour deal. I really want to see what his wonderlick test is.
Cause Vince had like a 3, my sister went to school at UT with Vince and spoke to him a few times. She was a gymnast, she would always laugh about how incredibly stupid he is.
