I keep expecting to hear that they nflpa and owners worked it out, dammit this blows
^ Not going to happen, the PA has decertified. Now it will start in the courts, when have you seen any court proceeding get done quickly? Sorry man we are seriously fucked.

From what I have read, there is nothing stopping them from talking while they wait.
this shit isnt going to be resolved till the VERY LAST second.

Exactly the owners will want this shit done before the start of the first game, period. They could care less about OTA’s, training camp etc. Coaches on the other hand are probably pulling their hair out right now.

I thought that there was a legit possibility of no football this year when that TV deal was still around… but now that they arent gonna get that 4 billion dollars I bet they’ll make it happen

BJB the PA has decertified, so as a group the owners cant talk to the union. They can talk to each player but will not help. I dont know the exact list of players who are suing the NFL I do remember Peyton Manning and Brees are two of them.

This link explains alot.
^ Great now we have some judge chick who will decide the fate. SON I AM DISAPPOINT.
Edit: I guess I should qualify that the NFL and D Smith and his group can talk. However to decertify means there is no Union. So how do they actually talk? Who does D Smith now represent if there is no Union? If they could not come to any type of mutual agreement with no deadline and the world watching, how are they ever going to do something now that it is in the hands of Judge Judy?

hahahaha, I thought it but you said it.
^ Well come on, I want somebody with at least a set of balls. Why? If I was the NFL I would ask for a change in judge. Dont care if I get called a sexist, if the roles were reversed and this was WNBA then great let a woman judge decide. This is Sparta damnit. Fuck, Im just frustrated.

Yeah. You know they are just going to have to keep explaining the same thing over and over and over again until she finally gets it.
Wait…what?

Hahahahahaha I knew you would eventually see this. I know at this point she will not be deciding on actual Football things. Just labor issues. I am frustrated, but your Avi helps.

saw this today on ESPN and thought it was kinda cool (even though I hate the steelers and think all their fans are gay)
especially if they in any way reference the steelers in their screen name

That needs to be a tramp stamp, so you have a towel to put your load on. ![]()
in regards to the talking without a union thing. this is just something i thought of while reading this and it may not be plausible in any way shape or form, but… what if D. smith and the league continue to talk, as we all know even though there is not a “union” there will still be talks amongst the players. so what if smith and the league are talking off the record and he relays to some players they may have something good, then the players become a union again and accept the deal? is the even legal? possible?

I am at this moment listening to Moving the Chains on Serius sat online. D Smith and the NFL are both on record saying they will not even “talk” until after the first court date in April.
Also now they are trying to get the draft prospects to NOT go to New York for the draft?
