NFL 2010 X 4

“The best workout I have ever seen was Jemarcus Russel” -ouch. Im not sold on Cam, he did do a hell of a job dominating the SEC and just about everyone he faced, but, I think whats between the ears is just as important for next level success due to the microcosm that is the NFL. He handled the pay for play thing pretty well this season, so he could be a rock mentally… Under Harbaugh, he scares me.

^You can find something wrong w/every budding NFL guy. Cam is a stud, I’ve said it all along. If Harbaugh decides to take him, it will be a big WIN! Think bout Davis, Crabtree, & Newton. That’s a pretty powerful & I believe potent offense. & I’m not even adding Gore. Just ball in the air weapons.

^ Now WC is going to go off the deep end. He doesnt want Cam, he wants Luck, but he is not going to get him unless San Fran sucks big hairy balls this year and gets #1 pick for 2012.

After I heard that, what popped in my head was I have to link that on the NFL thread. Mayock knows his shit, I have been watching him for 4 years now. If you have NFL network DVR the combine and listen to everything he says. He knows talent.

Hahaha seriously, my long lost dream. I’m more than pleased though that we got Harbaugh. When he was talking with Miami and Luck decided to stay in school, I was considering switching my interests to cricket.

Newton is a stud athlete, there are no questions about that, but I’d prefer to wait and see what the NFL scouts think before I fully go one way or the other. As long as we don’t take Locker or Mallet I think I’ll be OK.

hey man the experts are really high on Gabbert. Keep an I on him. I still think I would rather have that stud pass rusher and then next year you get the QB. Who the hell knows maybe Harbaugh can turn Alex around. All I know is Crabtree is going to end up a bust if somebody doesnt start throwing him the ball.

DJ, Mayock is awesome, I started listening to him this season and he really knows football.

I wasn’t trying to negate anything Newton’s got by saying I’m not sold on him, but I’m with WC and I wanna see the scouts take on him too.

I will always be skeptical of any QB that is coming out of the spread.

So anybody really thinking that Carson Palmer will retire?

No, I see him getting traded before he retires. I think he is a good QB but Cincy seems to be a negative place to be in the last few years.

He’s always been a grumpy bastard so I say no. 50 million reasons NOT to retire. PFT says that Johnson and TO will be gone most likely so that should make Palmer think twice as well.

This lockout scare is a big gigantic steaming pile of shit. I will side with the players %100. I’m not smart enough to understand all the bullshit but thats how I feel right or wrong.

^ Palmer has his house up for sale, and guys close to him are saying this is not a ploy of any kind. He is prepared to retire. I dont blame him for wanting out of Cincy, he will never be known for an elite QB cause all the shit he has to play with.

I’ve always liked the guy even though he’s the enemy so to speak. His deep sideline throws were a thing of beuty. I’d love to see him play in SanFran and do well. Can’t see the Niners giving away the farm to get him though. Straight up trade, Palmer and Chad to SanFran for QB, and Crabtree?

Cincy= worst owners in the NFL.

^ Yea and I a bet you hate that fact of cincy having the worst owners.

I dont see anybody wanting Chad he is a the point of deminishing returns.

haha, you got me on that one, I love that the Brown family are idiots.

It’s hard to feel sorry for million dollar athletes but when you see some of them devote half their life or more and never get a sniff of a championship I do feel bad for these guys. The ones I like anyways.

I’m not sure what Chad wants or expects as far as salary but maybe he would take a huge pay cut to go to a SB ready team like the Jets. I think he still has some gas left in the tank, one of the best at those tippy-toe catches imo, then again the Jets already have one of those guys

Problem with Chad Johnson (he changed his name back) is his showboating has gotten stale and old. I personally never had a problem with the guy cause it was always in good fun type of display. However you got to be playing at a high level to pull that shit off.

He has not played at that high level in a couple of years. Now also he is starting to get banged up, when these guys get in there 30s and start missing time due to injury. Big risk. You should know BJB Pitt is notrious for getting rid of guys before they are ready for pasture.

I like certain players not because of what they say more like style of play or mechanics, running style, etc. Same reason I’ll never like Rivers, his throwing motion, albeit effective is disgusting to witness imo, now that guy is a whiny bitch.

Carson might even lose the starting QB position…to his little brother lol.
