And what a lot of us are saying is that some of youse Jets fans are overestimating his supposed greatness. He’s a QB that has had some highs as well as some lows but is only 2 years into his playing career. He has the potential of becoming a solid QB. But no more than that if I had to bet money.

Rams D is better than you think, look it up. They have allowed as many points this years as the top 5 Defensive teams.
While they are decent I will give them that, look at the offenses they have shut down and look back at what let’s say the lions did to them. And the Chiefs last week lit em up.
That could be a case of deceiving stats. But they are solid, just wouldn’t say they have the same aura as say the jets of last year.
^ I agree with that, just saying they are not like they used to be, Spags has the D playing pretty solid. Couple more drafts they could actually be scary.

You guys that don’t want to give Sanchez any due are plain ol haters. He has produced in big games he has a winning pct. & he’s about to win the SB.

Damn get a little butthurt when someone talks bad about your boy? I get it your one of those “fans” who can’t talk unbiased or look honestly at your team w/o being a homer. It’s OK.
Holmes you may wanna jump back a bit. I am the furthest thing to being a Homer. I’m just stating facts. Nothing more, nothing less. Just about anyone on here will tell you that I am not the biggest fan of Sanchez. I am about as unbiased as they come.
& until Cutler, who has done nothing gets his team to the NFC championship, I’m not sure you really have much to say. & yeah, I’m assuming you’re a Bears fan from your avi. My apologies if I am wrong.

Yeah I hear ya, and if they give Sam and Jackson so help on the other side, I think they could do well next few years in that division. Hopefully Clayton recovers 100% he was tearing it up before he tore up his knee.
^ They will be drafting some WR and TE over the next couple of years and then work on depth for the D. Feel bad for WC cause in my opinion they are a step ahead of the 49rs. Same said for Seattle and Arizona, its a QB driven league.

No worries man… (jumps back) and yeah the avi would imply that but actually I’m just an '85 Bear fan lol. That was the first season I remember watching w my dad ( I was 5) and yeah McMahon and Sweetness were my heroes. I can remember getting in trouble as I watched that MNF game against Miami when I was supposed to be asleep, think I blew my cover when I yelled at the little 13in tv in my bedroom. Lol
I don’t know if this has been discussed or if there are any chargers fans in here, but I seen a headline that SD ownership have given a vow of confidence to Norv & gm aj smith.
What do u guys think of that? Personally I think the owner made a huge mistake picking AJ over Marty a few years back.
If you ask me, Sanchez is to the Jets what Rex Grossman was to the Bears in 2006. If Grossman managed the game appropriatly the bears would win, if he tried to carry the team it often led to disaster. Sanchez is a good qb if he follows his role. Let the defense and the running game take control of the game, make a few plays when you need to, and don’t commit costly turnovers.
As for you talking about how Sanchez led his team to the championship thus he is great is very inaccurate. As a Ravens fan I often look at 2008. Flacco’s rookie year, the team went to the championship game. The team made it there playing great defense and on the legs of workhorse(now fullback) Leron Mcclain. Does this all of a sudden mean Joe Flacco is as good as Tom Brady? Sanchez is alright, but the Jets live and die by the defense and power run game.

Only Strung out and I think Gregon is SD fans. I dont see a reson to get rid of Norv just yet, they did have a lot of injuries and the whole V. Jack hold out thing. Mathews will be better next year so I can see giving one more year, they fall short next year Norv is gone.

So JS who is your team?
Yeah I just don’t think he is a good HC, great coordinator but come on he has had awesome talent there every year since they gave Martyball the boot and he has squandered it away somehow or another every season.
Oh and my team is the KC Pats I mean Chiefs. So mostly during the Herm years I’ve been a fan of football lol. I think they are headed in the right direction tho. I used to get pissed every April w C Peterson’s picks but last year gave me hope w pioli.
^ Hell half the KC team is Texas X, got to love them.
I agree on Norv personally, BUT changing coaches gurantees a set back. Its one thing to promote a coach like Caldwell after Dungy left, he was part of the process. New coach means a LOT of new coaches on the team and change in personell. Or being a KC fan is that why you want them to change.

Actually I was somewhat glad when I seen that, cause imagine what a good HC could do with that. They’ve been preseasons favorites how many times the past few yrs by a lot of “experts” . Their D doesn’t seem quite as good as it was for whatever reason, and Gates can never seem to make it a full season. With the latter not falling on norv of course.
Yeah Charles has done really well past two seasons, and Johnson is playing more inspired ball since he was threatened with losing his starting pos.

If I were a Chargers fan I would’ve wanted Norv out a long time ago. As in, I wouldn’t have even wanted him to coach my team AT ALL.
I agree that Norv should stay another year. If he doesn’t bring them to the playoffs next year then he will be gone and maybe A.J. Smith. A.J. hasn’t done a good job drafting the last 3 or 4 years and hasn’t done much in picking up free agents. They moved up way to high to get Matthews who played decently when he wasn’t injured. He is a solid back, but will never be a top 5 running back. His pass protection is bad to average and he isn’t very good at catching the ball out of the backfield. Anyways, the AFC west is getting better except the Broncos, so next year will be do or die for Norv.
I really hope we don’t lose Ron Rivera as the DC. He is just starting to get into his groove of handling a 3-4 defense. He is probably a candidate for some of the vacant coaching jobs.

You wouldnt want him because he is a Cowboy X coach that probable kicked the Pats butt back in the 90’s.

No, I say that because HE CANT WIN IN THE PLAYOFFS.
