NFL 2010 X 4

ALso, maybe I’m just being a grumpy prick. I worked 16 hours yesterday, and am in the middle of another 16 today…

^Let me help ya pal. If this don’t get you all fired up, nothing will. Your ok as a prick Beans.

on a side note im glad JT is getting a chance for a ring… this is prolli as close as he’s gonna get… god knows the phins were on the downside for a better half of his career…

Last time the Jets played the Steelers Miller and Polamalu were out. Jets had a kick-off return for a touchdown. Back-up TE dropped a game winning TD that Miller makes in his sleep. Lots of what-ifs in there but I have to believe that with those two players back it will be a different outcome.

Sanchez will be running for his life but if he can stand tall and take a few shots early and make some throws over the middle (which should be there) he can win, he did before. That play fake he made last time was perfect. OC for Jets should abuse Wiliam Gay for Pitt, horrible cover corner.

They better be watching Cromartie close because he was mugging guys in the week 15 matchup lol. I can’t wait to see Mike Wallace blow by him…again.

Braylon Edwards is catching everything now, WTF?

If all the best(household name) players cancell each other out in the Steelers vs Jets what unsung player(s) will emerge?

Miller for Pittsburgh is my choice, best TE in the game imo.

That dude at NT for the Jets against the rookie Pouncy is going to be huge so I pick that guy for the Jets.

A little late, but gave me a laugh

McD to the Rams, Cable to the Seahawks, the NFC West is rampin’ up! OK maybe not, but maybe?

Only one day of epic football battles this weekend? WTF.

Morning all, looks like the D-line coach for the Titans will be taking the DC for Philly.

WC I actually agree with you and it is not a pipe dream, I think in 2-3 years the NFC west will be a tough division again. I think Arizona is in for a long haul though.

Pats need to bundle up some first rounders for Larry Fitz I think.

i think pats trade some of their pics for some veterans… prolli an established DE and a WR…

i can see them take fairley in the first though

Man beans dont say that. That would be a nightmare for the rest of the league. Fitz is not going anywhere, but I see your point.

Bill has went through the draft for talent though. He only uses old guys that are diminishing returns and can be let lose easily.

^That’s not a bad idea Beans. I heard this morning they have 2 picks each round for the first 3. Fitz would ideal for that team.

I know, but a man can dream…

Thing is a first rounder (without a change in the CBA) is more expensive than LF in the long run. Plus his offensive drafting has sucked the balls up until this year.

Moss was a one time thing and Welker was a product of that to the extent of like 40-60 catches a year. He isn’t a huge threat without a big WR to take some of his coverage. He is dangerous, if you put a nickle corner on him.

Whateves though. I’ll question their offseason moves, expect them to go 8-8 and hope they surprise me. worked pretty well last year, haha.

Bill was a fucking mastermind at storing those picks. I just dont see him packaging a deal though. He has not done that in the past and just dont see him doing it now. Also Wiz would be signing his death sentence by sending off Fiz. He is already on the hot seat for letting go of the talent he had from the SB year.

yea i can’t see Bill offering anything more than a 3rd for any players… he’s good at scouting talent… im surprised they didn’t jump on holmes like the jets did…

if anything he’ll pick up a player on what is deemed a ‘decline’ put him in the system and he’ll thrive… bill doesn’t like to get into bidding wars or overpay for players…

Then why come at me, when I was joking around, in the first place? Because you have done the same to dogs that Vick has and feeling guilty? You need to hate on Patz players like they are the only dumbasses in the league, the only ones who pull the class card, the only ones who do the dougies in cornerback’s face when they score, oh yeah, oops…[/quote]

Why had I gotten the impression all along that the only reason objections arose is because I said something about your favorite team, thats very clear now. This is it I am not 12 so I am done responding so go and have the laST word as I am sure you wont be able to resist, even though like everything previous it wont make an ounce of sense.

Yes I understand your thinking, you want a return on investment NOW. Bill just doesnt think that way, he will go into the off season with the knowledge he needs a big physical receiver. He will get one some how, just not what most teams will do it. I mean he hasnt addressed the running game in how long? He just plugs guys into the system and moves on. He will do the same with the WR corp. What he has done though is establish the most important area of the field the O and D line. That is not sexy and media worthy but that is where your strength lies. Reason I have respect for Bill as a coach.

His personality doesn’t fit with that locker-room at all. They would have clashed big time.

Holmes is a good fit for the attitude of the Jets. That isn’t BB’s style. I’m not saying the Jets or their attitude is wrong or ineffective, just different than the way BB wants to run his show.
