NFL 2010 X 3

I believe they have to beat the skins and the bears have to beat the packers. They would get the 6th seed…i think.

See I see McNabb in a Vikings uniform, and Orton maybe in Arizona. I think the niners will go with Troy and draft a 1st Rd QB. Again this is dependent on who will be the new niners QB.

McNabb has his choice of where he wants to play unless traded. PTI guys were discussing this last week. They don’t think the Skins will just release him. McNabb has said he wants a straight up release.

I think McNabb would fit in Minn, SF, or possibly Carolina depending on who is running that team.

^ Good question. I dont think Kolb is going anywhere next year. Kitna is going to be 39 years old, Dude is not going anywhere. Other than that its the usual suspects. Just a question, with a quality HC and offensive coordinator why couldnt Troy Smith carry them and groom a Draft pick?
Man, you really think the Eagles will want to sit a guy they are paying starting money with the potential that he will never start. I see Vick getting paid, and if he keeps getting better, he will be their QB for the next five plus years. I had originally thought Kolb was staying regardless, but at this point that just seems like a silly idea.
You have to remember how NFL contracts are written, it is not even money every year. They are all front heavy so the owners can dump them if they need to. I do not know for sure what Kolb will make next year but it is less than what he made this year. And Vick due to his legal issues will want a contract that is different than normal contracts. He will actually want a contract that is less per year and spread out.

i didnt know Kolb only had the one left, I posted that in the other forum, I also had not thought/heard about Vick spreading out his money. That definetely changes the way things play out, but if they want to resign Vick, it is going to cost alot of money, and I still think that if they do decent in the playoffs they will be listening to any offers that may help them go all the way.

Hell man I know where you are coming from with your team. IF the CBA gets done and there is some type of franchise tag, they would just Franchise Vick next year and Kolb finishes his contract. They have him as a great backup with possibly shopping him all year. Again they would not be paying two starting QBs starting money and they are protected from having a severe drop off in talent. Pretty fucking smart of Philly. Now if Seattle really thought they had seen enough tape on Kolb that he could be there starting QB then they would have to trade serious 1st round talent for him. Only way I see it getting done.

Im pretty sure, the giants have an %18 chance of still making the plaoffs

I’d love to sign Orton and draft Mallet or Newton/Locker (if they grades out well in the combine).

Looks like that to me, thats why you should never believe everything you hear. However, I dont see them going over Green Bay. So what will they do in the off season if they dont make it?

Coughlin will be gone…the giants are great at stockpiling at positions, I think you will see them attempt to get younger on the o-line via the draft. There most glaring weakness IMO is their LBs. FA signings like bullock and Boley have not panned out and younger guys like Jonathon Goff are nothing more than mediocrities.

I do have a shit ton of confidence in their GM Jerry Reese.

I didn’t read that close enough, those are Pat Kirwans picks. Sorry.

I listen to Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan ever afternoon on the way home from work on 124 serius. Actually called in a few times, those are in my opinion the best talk radio guys about football. One is an X GM and the other X defensive lineman. Great show.

I agree, used to love listening to them when I had XM. I also like Bob Papa, is he still on in the mornings?

Thats who I listen to on the way to work in the mornings. I agree love listen to him, I mean for a guy that is tied in with the Giants he is very level and informative.

I am going to the senior bowl someday to meet those two guys, just have to get the wife to agree to it.

While I really wish the Skins would keep McNabb, he is going to go to somewhere like Seattle, Arizona, or Minnesota and do really fuckin well for a few years.

I never really trusted the strength of the Giants as evidenced in the beginning of the thread. Even if they make it in, I don’t see them making through the first round. That said, they are pretty stocked on WR once everyone gets healed up. Even the RB situation is pretty good (minus the hands team). That line needs some work as someone mentioned earlier.

So Cool what are the Skins going to do at QB. Sexy Rexy going to lead them to the promise land?
