This, sorry Eagle fans, but…

It is what it is
Hey heard this morning that in Vicks bankruptcy he owes the Falcons 21 million dollars. How fucked up is that? He could end up getting a new contract for big money which A. Blank will be hoping for so he can recoup. Falcons vs Philly for NFC championship you cant make shit like this up.
For me, this is more important than the Superbowl in terms of a storyline, will be most epic NFC championship ever?

Well that was an awesome night of football. Thank you Bungles. Hopefully we steamroll the raiders next week and then face the Jets at Arrowhead. I would fancy our chances at winning the game too though it won’t be easy. KC Chiefs division champions. Feels good to say it.

I’m happy for them for sure. They are like the Patz Jr. lol

and in no significant way do his actions back up the premise that he is inhumane and psychopathic.

"According to the prosecutor’s statement of facts in the case, between 2002 and 2007 Michael Vick and his co-conspirators Purnell Peace, Quanis Phillips and Tony Taylor killed thirteen dogs by various methods including wetting one dog down and electrocuting her, hanging, drowning and shooting others and, in at least one case, by slamming a dogâ??s body to the ground.

According to a November 2008 ESPN.com news story, a report prepared by the USDA’s inspector general-investigations division revealed that Vick, Purnell Peace, Quanis Phillips and Tony Taylor also put family pet dogs into the ring with trained pit bulls.

The report, dated Aug. 28, 2008, says, “Vick, Peace and Phillips thought it was funny to watch the pit bull dogs belonging to [Vickâ??s] Bad Newz Kennels injure or kill the other dogs.”

Nah, doesent sound inhumane at all.

thats all I have to say about that. I will disagree till Im blue in the face about the guy “making a mistake” with that being said I do believe he should be allowed to play, but yes I hate him and what he has done, If he ever became a jet I would start becoming a die hard pats fan. Quite possibly the best player in the NFL but also a bad guy just like his kennel.

Yes I’ve heard of those atrocities and I don’t condone them. But to say one is inhumane and psychopathic implies he’s sadistic with regards to fellow humans. As I said he was a product of his environment, he probably grew up with dog fighting and thus for him the value of life of dogs was insignificant for him.

Plus, in areas of Taiwan, both Koreas and other South-East Asian areas they HUNT, KILL and EAT! stray and PET dogs. I have a friend who told me he saw shit like that when he was traveling there and didn’t believe it myself until I saw a spot on BBC about dog asian cuisine and read a story in the NYT about the violent extermination of dogs in Iraq.

To me the torture of dogs, however sickening is behind in severity to rape, meth distribution and human murder/homicide.

So he pissed away his signing bonus from the Falcons then.

Fuck em. That is what he gets killing fucking dogs.
I dont know the exact details of the bankrupt issues, I just know they were discussing that the Falcons were one of the biggest creditors that he owed. They were also saying that if he took a big contract that was loaded on the front end than the creditors would get more. If it was spread out over an extended period of time than Vick would keep more.
You’re like 2-3 years late bringing that up. Didn’t the union resolve that issue?

Anyway why do you guys have to hate Mike Vick like that. He’s paid his debt to society. He was a product of his environment and in no significant way do his actions back up the premise that he is inhumane and psychopathic.

I hope Vick and Brady meet in the Superbowl and Vick fucks up the Pats, doggystyle .
Sorry but Two years ago Mike Vick was not playing for the Eagles and possibly going to play the Falcons in a NFC playoff game. I brought it up because I did not follow it at the time and it was not relevant. However now 2010 in the playoffs this year in a few weeks, they may play and it will be all over ESPN like in a few weeks.

Sorry I can not relate to Mr. Vick and his up bringing, however I believe it is an inate ability to know the difference between right and wrong. I know when I developed the ability for reason that if I kill something it doesnt come back to life and that it is wrong. So have to disagree, that if at the time he killed dogs he had not developed a sense of right and wrong than that by definition is psychopathic.

Sorry before I forget FUCK OFF. Take that shit some where else ass hat. Are you bored, you want an argument about this start you own fucking thread about it.

Back to talking about American football that obviously people from New Zealand have no fucking clue about.

Matty what is your assessment of the Giants situation? As a Cowboys fan what are you hearing?
countingbeans wrote:

Heck of a game though. Atlanta dialed up some awesome pass rush and Brees managed to make some great plays against that rush. In the end Atlanta handed them that game between Turner fumbling on the one and the bad snap that gave NO great field position for the TD. NO did turn the ball over as well, I just think our turnovers were more costly than theirs. Both D’s came to play and other than the final score the game didn’t disappoint.

My twisted spin on the loss is two fold, one ATL got a loss out of the way and can begin another win streak and it’s really hard to beat any team 3 times much less NO.
ATL still wraps up home field and the NFC south next week against the Panthers. If they cannot beat Carolina at home they’re dead to me.

BTW I have never seen much less heard of dual pass interferience WTF!!! BS call, Roddy(I think it was) did not push off, they need to let players play, I for one and tired of chincy PI calls.

Do people think Orton or Kitna would be good starting QB’s on other teams? I’m trying to think of all the possible veterans besides McNabb that the 49ers could sign…

Orton has had a really good year, with exception of the last few weeks but I believe he’s had a rib injury. Kitna is a bit long in the tooth at this point, he’s a good back up but I don’t think he’s a starter anymore. Really depends on who the new coach is and what direction he wants to take.

^ Good question. I dont think Kolb is going anywhere next year. Kitna is going to be 39 years old, Dude is not going anywhere. Other than that its the usual suspects. Just a question, with a quality HC and offensive coordinator why couldnt Troy Smith carry them and groom a Draft pick?

The giants are gonna be wearing their bears jerseys. If the bears win there in, which I think would create A philly giant matchup again! No matter what happens I feel Coughlin is outski. I think thats the only way the giants could get in of course they have to beat the skins.

I think McNabb will be a cardinal next year,

Orton would be an awesome fit for the niners…he really got the shaft this year.

I thought the Giants were eliminated period?

Man, you really think the Eagles will want to sit a guy they are paying starting money with the potential that he will never start. I see Vick getting paid, and if he keeps getting better, he will be their QB for the next five plus years. I had originally thought Kolb was staying regardless, but at this point that just seems like a silly idea.
