Somebody call?

All he is doing is waiting for John Fox to be let go at the end of the season.

You guys think Marv Lewis gets canned this year?

yes. how long has he been there? Almost ten years, I believe he has a losing record. I personally like the guy from what ive seen on tv but…

When I first read this, I thought you had written Marv Levy. HA!!! You are a funny one Beans.

I see alot of house cleaning in Cincy…Carson Palmer, Ochocinco outski?

^ Yea they got to flip it, problem is they have never really been a organization that has spent money. I always thought Palmer was over rated, Matty and Print hopefully your USC QB outshines that USC QB.

NFL suspended Patriots ILB Brandon Spikes four games for violating the league’s policy on banned substances.

He’s done for the regular season, but should return for the playoffs. According to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald, Spikes was not suspended for ingesting a performance enhancer. A high-impact run defender in his first season, Spikes has 61 tackles and an interception in 12 starts. His absence against the Bears Sunday is a boost for Matt Forte’s matchup.

^ Randman is going to be PISSED.

X2 on the Brown family being cheap, i’ve watched them do crazy shit for years. Lewis maybe but if Chad and Carson are under contracts that still have years on them I doubt it. The owners daughter controls the teams finances and signings I believe and no way he’s gonna can her for creating this mess.

Re Palmer, his elbow is shot but they won’t dump him, I like the guy actually.

Good grief, even the Steelers kicker is on IR…again. This year is very similar to their last SB run, defence went on a tear and the patchwork O-Line.

Not sure who posted it but I agree, Ben’s got two more SB’s in him, the defence will always be there, it’s what they do.

Well the Raiders did me a big favour, hopefully they will go back to being crap now. We have one foot in the door of the playoffs but I’m still nervous. I still reckon the Chargers will beat us and it is possible that we lose to the Raiders or Titans. Even the Rams away is far from a guaranteed win. Still fingers crossed and we’ll hope for the best.
Cheifs are golden dude, they’ll get in. BTW have you gone back into the Cheifs history and checked out footage? If not you gotta see some tape of ā€œThe Nigerian Nightmareā€ Christian Okoye, the guy was a monster for a few years, 87’ to 92’.
No the only old Chief I have watched is Derek Thomas though I have heard of Okoye. I’ll check that stuff out.
Two words for ya, Steve Atwater lol. He was never the same guy after the hit on him on MNF.

Too much bromance for me I guess.

I’ll just say before I leave that in my limited time watching american football (3 years) the thing I have noticed the most is how important the QB position is. An elite QB has a good chance to beat any kind of defense on any given sunday. I was a huge Baltimore fan 2 years ago and I loved their D but the more I watched the more their inconsistent offense started to bug me. The QB position is so important its no wonder the last 3-4 year SB winners have won because of their ability to get it done through the air. Wasn’t it Jaws who says every monday night (tuesday afternoon for me) the NFL is a QB’s league?

Cheers

Your quote here sums up what real football fans dislike. You have not followed a team for years and enjoy their highs and get pissed at their lows. You hop from team to team probably most of the ones who are winning. Say what you want about the guys in this thread, but we know football and our team. Redstarr is not from here but he has picked a team and stuck with them. And Jaws is a fucking idiot.

The one good thing you guys have going for you is your teams under performed this year… Some better coaching, and one or two players and you guys are playoff bound.

(Well maybe the Cowboys need a bit more, their division is tough…)

Our offense is not the problem, its our D. I have been bitching for the last few years about their inability to get off the field on 3rd down. There red zone defense is always at the bottom of the league and there secondary can not man cover for shit.

Thsi sounds just like the Pats this year, except the appear to be coming together a bit. They have stopped a couple 3rd downs and are starting to cover better, well McCordy has, lol.

But they are pretty good at bending, but not breaking.
