NFL 2010 X 3

^ Lol, where is Strungout to argue about his best team in the NFL? Philip Rivers can play, I know he has been my FF QB in my family league for last 3 years. Chargers D is above average, I dont think the #1 ranking speaks volumes from personal experience. Dallas was #1 ranked defense in the early 2000’s and had a 5-11 season. Wins makes you the higher ranked defense, just keeping the total yards down per game doesnt mean a lot. [/quote]

Strungout is a night owl I believe. I don’t think they’ll get through KC. though. Arrowhead is like a college atmosphere. Incredibly crazy. But I do like how the Chargers are playing. They coulda just laid down died.

Who is worse the AFC West or the NFC West? I’m going w/the NFC West.

^ NFC West for sure. San Diego and Kansas city are playing solid football right now. The Rams will be back Bradford is the real deal and Spags will have the Defense playing tight in a few years. Seattle will be rebuilding, 49rs have Dallasitis (Drama and Coaching issues) and Arizona needs a QB.

The Chargers already played in Arrowhead… They play the Chiefs in SD.

My stomach is in knots over the Pats/Jets game. The pats are gonna lose on Primetime TV. Damn it all.

I’m not worried about the offense, they’ll find ways to score a couple points, it defending the Jets that the Pats can’t do. Sanchez makes veteran choices for the most part and buys so much time in the pocket. I think McCordy can limit one receiver, but the other jets fast receiver is going to have a big day. Who knows which pats run Defense is going to show up… UGH!

I just want it to be over. I mean trust me, I’m beyond impressed with how well the Pats are playing for a rebuilding year, and have said all season the Jets are going to sweep the division and are Bowl favorites and deserve that designation, but come on, both teams @ 9-2? KILLING ME!

As far as JH in Pittsburgh, poor bastard has become the poster boy for the new rules and will get flagged for taking a piss at this point. I’ve always held the belief that good teams play well enough to overcome bad calls, but sometimes it is just ridiculous.

Fin v. Andre… Jesus H. Both of them are idiots. I mean come on. Whatever happened had to be bad, real bad. Idiots.

^ Beans I cant pull up video at work, but believe me Fin went straight for Andre’s face at the start of the play hit him with both hands to the face mask. Blantant strike that would normally have been a penality if Andre had not gone off on him. Also Fin had to have been talking shit for the whole game cause Andre is known for being the most laid back guy on and off the field.

they had a similar run in (without the helmets coming off and punches thrown) earlier in the game… So it had been building until the breaking point I guess?

Johnson got fined for taking fin down by his facemask during a scuffle in their game last year… these guys have a history

haha Matty. See we have something in common. I’m a red Sox fan. So while the last couple years were cool, I had 24 years of let downs and broken dreams. So of course you would think I’m playing mind games.

I wish it was reverse psychology, but it isn’t.

If Sanchez doesn’t pull a Manning and toss 3,000 picks, the Jets win by 12. Pats just can’t cover those receivers long enough. Plus the running game…

If you look at it objectively the smart money has to be on the Jets, unless the Pats are home dogs with 7 points or more. And I feel like the Pats will get the home field goal.

Now if I wanted to really play games I would load up and bet the Jets heavy, lol.

I mean there ARE some good teams in the east…no one is even mentioning the pats and jets game SHEESH!

Phillip Rivers blah blah blah,

WC are you psyched for tonites heavy weight matchup? That bet we had in the beginning of the year is looking like we will both lose.

DAMN! I was thinkin’ the exact same thing Matty. You can’t pull that shit around here Beans, we’ve done that all our lives. Nobody know reverse Psych better than the Jets fan.

Greg, I know they already played in KC. & lost I believe. I was referring more into the playoffs if they would meet for a 3rd time.

See I think the total opposite, I think the Jets are gonna get domed by 10pts. They have it coming, winning very close games that they could have lost, coupled that with beating the pats earlier in the year and playing away…I have a very bad feeling. This does not change how I feel about the Jets, but I just feel they have one more stinker in em.

Maybe its me with the reverse psycology?

They will then take their anger out on the fish next week.

Beans!!!?? WTF! By 12. Are you kidding me? Patz can score quick from anywhere on the field. I think it will be close & maybe some snow? What’s the forecast looking like?

Brady will abuse who ever is playing slot or nickel back. Green-Ellis ain’t no slouch either. Let us not forget that Terrific Tom carved up supposedly the best def. in the league in the Steelers.

yeah they lost in KC on a monday night game. I doubt they’d see eachother in the playoffs seeing as how they both would probably be low seeds (IF they both make it)

but I know what you’re sayin print

^ Only one team will come out of the AFC west. AFC east puts in two teams and the AFC north puts in two teams.

^Says you.

^ Believe it.

I have all the faith in the world the Pats can score 24-27 points. I do not, however, have the faith in the defense to stop those speedy receivers from catching 4 touches in the first half and then LT stuffing the ball down their face in the second half for a total of 30-38 points.

I love how we all feel the same way about our teams this year, lol. Pessimistic jerks we all are.

Pessimism makes the pain go away quicker when your team bombs a season, so call it self-defense
