NExT Gains, Temporary or Permanent?

Dr. Darden, the program looks hard and interesting, I intend to try it tonight. In your article, you state that a week later the growth should still be noticeable and measurable if the program is followed exactly. If it is followed exactly is the growth permanent or is it somewhat temporary, or is part of the growth temporary and part permanent and if so what is the ratio. Also could I substitute a negative push up with hands close together facing each other for the Boyer Coe dip and substitute a negative supinated pulldown for the Boyer Coe chin. At 70 yrs old I don’t think I am strong enough to perform those two exercises per your program.

With the guys I’ve trained, most of the growth appears to be long term. I believe you can do the chins and dips. Do them without adding resistance. Use only your body weight.
