Newbies Should Learn and...

Changing tires, jumpstarting a car, checking fluid levels, changing your oil, replacing blown fuses, checking and filling tires, etc… All these things are explained, in detail, in your owners manual. So no one should not know how to do any of those things.

At least they are in my owners manual. And I’ve done all these things several times. Changing your own oil is awesome, I like doing it.

The monkey bars in my old play ground were more like terror-dome. Inside of it is where the fights happened. I’ll see if I can find a pic[/quote]

These were awesome when I was little. I occasionally take my 5 year old nephew to the park by my mom’s house and there’s a full jungle gym set up there, only now I’m much too big for it so I mainly stay off the equipment.

My nephew LOVES going there. I’ve been showing him how to do pull ups on the monkey bars, and he loves it. He’ll play there until he passes out. Kids are great, just put them outside with some stuff to climb on and jump off of and they’re in hog heaven.

Well shit, if we’re making up stuff everybody ought to be able to do-

Kill and clean a deer or other food animals.

Use a chainsaw.

Form, fill, and finish a concrete driveway.

Weld butt, groove, and lap joints on steel plate.

Stone work is a bonus.

Cause you never know when you will be stranded and need to do that kind of stuff.

I’m too bourgeois to know how to do any of these things.

That wouldn’t be such a bad word if Marx wasn’t such and asshole. :<)

Bump, because I had Cross Colors when I was in middle school.

Hahaha so did I.

Thread should die a quiet death. Thinking about a new one to the two guys that made me want to lift.
Franco Columbu and Albert Beckles the Godfathers of BB.

I do my squats.
and more than bodyweight too

I do chinup instead of pullups. It’s been slow, but bit-by-bit I get better at them. I remember when I couldn’t do them bodyweight at all. Now every workout, even if it’s just by one more rep, if I get better at them i feel awesome inside. They’re after deadlift and leg press in my routine, so I’m already in a good mood
