The reason I was curious about Tribestan is because I can actually buy it at the store instead of monkey around trying to get it online. The website for it says they’ve made the product since 1982, I think. Maybe Tribex saying theirs is the first is in reference to the other ingredients in their product, which I still don’t know much about. I just want to be sure about what I’m taking to get better. You’re right, the price per capsule for the Tribex may just be cheaper because of the amount of the active ingredients…but I’m not sure how much it costs to get this stuff to my door. I can probably order anything I want, shipped from the States, but I have to factor in exchange rates, delivery cost, sales tax, and maybe even duty to get it over the border…I’ve ordered stuff from the States before that I thought was cheap, only to get it here and surprise! have to pay a lot of extra stuff for no reason.
I was told at various stores that the variety of Tribex sold in Canada isn’t the same stuff as you see on this site - they didn’t have any on the shelf to verify, but their explanation was that the regulatory markets in Canada are far more strict than in the States. I’d like the real stuff, for sure, instead of any watered down crap. It’s funny, because I can’t (according to the jokers behind the counter) buy safe supplements to enhance my workouts, but I can actually buy codeine over the counter without a prescription. (Tylenol 1’s) Makes sense to me!
