Not sure if I can post the picture as its from another website. But WOW, he is MASSIVE! The thing I don’t understand though, all the bodybuilders I have seen who had “the best legs” always had decent calves.
What’s the deal with his being glaringly underdeveloped compared to everything else?
It will be interesting to see what he places.
where did you see he was 308?

i can’t imagine he is still that kind of weight - he doesn’t look it at all in these recent shots. looks a good 20-30lbs down on the pic on page 1 of this thread - looks like alot of drug induced bloat has gone and quads look smaller imo

calves are genetic so he just has shitty calves not much can be done. his quads are also so big they make them look smaller.

the amount of oil in his shoulders especially but other bodyparts as well is just a joke.

not a fan of this blocky look - he is just size + leaness with no aesthetics at all.
while I agree completely with his lack of aesthetics… there is a lot that can be done about his calves I.E. SEO… how do you think 20 inch arms became the norm? lol…

he supposedly is 308 according to DJ
true he’s obviously a fan of SEO already.

in the pics released today i simply don’t believe he is still 308 at that height and leaness.
Do they all seriously take these oils etc?
yes they are all full of them.

just look at his shoulders and arms in the MM above - it is not possible for a human to look like that (the shoulders especially) with just drugs and training.

generally speaking everyone’s shoulders these days are just ridiculous cos of SEO that is why they are all like basketballs in MM shots.
Damn, I used to be amazed when I saw these guys. There’s me thinking Phil’s arms are truly gifted and they do this? It’s kinda disappointing. The 80s era of bodybuilders were so much more unique. Each bodybuilder had his own look. Whereas now…It’s just a shame.
SEO is probably the biggest turn off to the sport for me. To me, that isn’t BBing, because it isn’t even your body. I guess I wasn’t under the impression that everyone did it. It seems like some guys would bring up weak points better if they used them.

yeah it is shit.

i really don’t like Cutler anymore cos of it.

He looks like a big stupid dough ball all the time and is an embarrassment in my opinion. his physique is now a complete joke cos of SEO

same with Heath - his arms are BS and he looks like another dough boy most of the time. neither of them even look like human beings.

much prefer Kai to win over those 2 (the O).

I’d love to see if he is 300lb on stage. Because Big Ron was 290lb-295lb. Correct me if i’m wrong! So to see someone bigger. It just pushes the size barrier, which is mad!

I agree, you should be adding muscle to fix lagging parts. Not fill it with god know’s what. It takes it away from the art of the sport.

well, if Ronnie was 290 on MO stage it would be 350 off-season…

Yeah, me too. He also made the biggest changes to his physique last year. Completely different package.

I really wanna see how well Vic does. He has been so down on his luck throughout his career/life. Would be nice to see him get something he deserved along time ago. He doesn’t have many more chances realistically.

the new sex vid from Kai’s past (not the grapefruit one) is even more depressing :frowning:

makes me wonder what the sport is all about really - injecting mass amounts of oil and doing G4P to pay for it.

I lost respect for him the first time. Now again? Damn. He doesn’t look anything like phil+ramy though. I’m surprised they use this stuff.

The first SEO came out in 96 and I think Wheeler was experimenting with it on 93. That and the crazy insulin use that came along during/after Dorian is what makes guys look the way they do. They also can’t get as shredded as they did before because the insulin causes marbling of fat in the muscle. That’s also why guys like Serge Nubret weighed 212 lbs on stage while being 6ft tall and look way bigger, because they didn’t have fat within the muscle like they do nowadays.

is this actually true? Ive heard it said a few places but I’ve never seen any real evidence of it. What is the supposed mechanism?

Intramuscular fat is associated with insulin resistance. That’s why you see alcoholics with the so called beer belly as well, visceral fat accumulation. These guys run anywhere from 40 to 100+ ius of slin in the most extreme cases so to say they are insulin resistant is an understatement.

this post is even worse.

just give up.

sorry bro.

yeah sorry bro…

but seriously… sorry

LOL@ Nubret 6ft tall…nothing to say about insuline,gh and SEO as I know nothing about it (even if I appreciate 70/80s bbers look instead of today puffies&grotesque LOL)

It’s a shame, the 80s look, looked healthy. But they were no way near the level of conditioning/leanness etc of the 90s. I mean shit, look at Levrone in 96! Near the end of the video, his face is so drawn in.

Even then, they started to drift to a similar look. Then bam. We have 2013 and everyone looks unrealistic. Only one that resembles 80s look in Cedric Mcmillan. Just wish they would do something about it.
