Get a freakin’ motorcycle again.

Agreed, but I think I should wait for my insurance to come down and for other things to settle down.
I probably won’t get a street bike for that reason. Most likely, it’ll be a track only sportbike…maybe an MXer or track only supermoto. no insurance needed.

Bad Santa, you shouldn’t aim at the girl’s eye!!
Oh, and my goal is to see the Hallowed thread deliver.
For lifting I don’t have an exact set of numbers to hit, rough estimates maybe, but really, as long as it’s going in the right direction at a decent pace I’m happy.
Other:
-Teach my daughter to squat properly (she’s currently too young to stand up so this will be more of a later in the year goal). I plan to send her to school as a beast who can out-squat, pull up and arm wrestle all the guys in her year!
-Get a better job
-Move out of the shit hole I currently live in (Peterborough, or more accurately “Poland-borough”)
-Stop having to re-learn the things I should already know, i.e. keep training and diet more consistent and don’t let things get in the way of them
-Relax more

You should take a quick look at the last page or two of the MLB Playoffs thread. I think you’ll find a sneak preview of what you’re looking for on either the last page or the second-to-last page.

What is all this “be more present” bidness?
i guess for me it kinda means stop lamenting the past and worrying about the future so much. and focus on what is happening right here and now. i mean, learn from the past, and make preparations for the future, but dont forget to enjoy and immerse myself in the now. and try to be conscious of what im doing and why. trying to act rightly.
possibly a bit vague, but im trying to head in the right direction

I’d really like to do something medical because the human body is just fucking awesome. I’d be surprized to find out that more people on here didn’t feel that way. I’m leaning more this way, whether it’s nursing, physical therapist, somethng. Can’t say I care for microbiology, though.
Oleena, I hate the bike too. Swimming is when I usually get a little ahead, and I do pretty well running too. Fuck the bike though.
Work on T2 a lot, and get more used to legging it out afterwards. Stretching a little while pulling in to the transition station can help. If you can run away from everyone when they’re all cramped from the bike it can make a big difference.
It’s been quite a while since I swam (okay, like 15 years), so it’s taking me a while to get back into it. However, I’m confident I’ll be up to par in 6 months and running has always been my preferred cardio.
I’ve been doing bricks this week and attempting to make them as difficult as possible by finishing with a hard interval on the bike before immediately switching to running and I haven’t noticed the cramping that everyone keeps talking about. Instead, slower speeds feel much faster running right off of the bike and it takes me a second to work up to my normal pace. However, my legs feel fine. It’s actually harder to walk three steps over to the treadmill than it is to run after the bike.
BTW, I think we should try to keep this thread going and post when we accomplish one of our goals I’m betting the under-6-minute-mile will happen for me in about 4 months.

My friends measure their success in life by “Making C averages in class”,“Staying out of jail for atleast half the year”,and “Not get addicted to coke for atleast a month”
I think thoese will be added on to my goals as well.
