New TRT Blood work advice

Hi All

Just looking for some advice on my recent bloods.

Male, 56 years old, low T levels a few years ago, started taking Enclomiphine Citrate got my levels up to 15.7 but didn`t like the side effects, gave me huge balls which became uncomfortable, decided to take Cypionate 60mg every 4 days 3 months ago. Starting to get very sensitive nipples after injection.

I think it may be to much, I would really appreciate someone looking over my recent tests and my tests before Cyp. and advice me on the next best step. Should I take AI at this point to power my oestradiol levels or try lowering my dose first?

SHBG currently at 30.7 nmol/L

Just lower your dose. I had the same issue when I started. 120 mg/week put my free T over double high-normal and hence estrogen way high.

I backed down to 100 mg/week and smooth sailing.

Thanks man. I’m going to half it and monitor for the next 6 weeks.

I’m not an expert. Hopefully others chime in but halving your dose may be a bit too aggressive.

It will get your numbers down quicker (obviously) vs going to 50 mg every 4 days but 60 mg total every 8 days won’t be maintenance dosing so you’ll then have to increase, wait 8-10 weeks, etc, etc.

So maybe I should try 50mg get tests done if the numbers aren’t dropping then 40mg until I get dialled in.

Personally, I’d drop it to 50 mg every 4 days (100 mg total/8 days) and recheck in 8 weeks (minimum, not sooner).
