Hi coach my front squat is stuck for one month now. I used your wave system. Do you have any recommendations improve my front squat?

I honestly can’t answer that. I need to assess what your weak point is… what is the muscle group that is holding back your squat.[/quote]

coach i think tat my weak muscles in front squat is gluteaus or hams(because i am weak from bottom position) and the rhomboids or thoracic spinal muscles(because i cant stay with the elbows up and my upper back start to hunch-backed when i go to bottom front squat position.)do you recommend any exercises form stretch the elbows?

these i think are my problems in front squat.can you recommend how can i get stronger in weak muscles which keep low my poundages in front squat?

I don’t respond to those who repost their questions. I find that to be annoying and a lack of respect.

coach you are wrong!in my last question you ask from me to report you my weak muscles which are holding my front squat back.i post the message.i see that you arent answering (i know you are busy but you have answered in alot of messages before mine so 2 words for my message it isnt a lot of time).

for a long time you answer in messages which are extensive and idiotic.all my messages have subject the weightlifting training and power training(in past you were competitive weightlifter.so i dont believe that my messages are idiotic and unrelated with the subject tat you be occupied)but you susceptible refuse to answer in my messages.this is lack of respect to my person.

i am not living in your country so i havent the oppurtunity to train with you or to see you and ask my questions personally.the only way is the internet.and if you refuse to answer to my question how can i learn more about power training and my questins are answered.i respect your work and sorry if i am annoying.have a nice day.i dont annoy any more, stay cool.

  1. I don’t know him or of him. That doesn’t mean that he’s not good.
  2. 200$ for a conference is not that expensive at all…

Hey, CT

I have a few questions, I´ll be very happy if your willing to answer.

i´m going to add two judo session per week to my current program.

Do you see any problem with first weight training for 45 mins. Then rest an hour to train Judo for an 1,5 hour, if weight training for size and strenght?

Have you had any experience with judo practitioner, if yes what exercises or drills could i benefit from?

Also in my current program there is no isolation work, do you think im missing out on any major hypertrophy in smaller muscle groups?

Thanks again for helping me out with my program on page 18 (if you would like to see it again :))

Yes, resting only 1 hour will hurt your judo performance. Ideally you should have about 6 hours between your lifting session and judo practice. You could probably go as low as 3 hours between both of 'em, but I wouldn’t go with a shorter rest. Performance might not decrease right away, but it will catch up to you sooner or later.

As for isolation work, yeah you could probably benefit from some. But it depends on your body type. If you have long limbs (long arms and legs) and a short torso you will benefit from isolation work for biceps, triceps and quads. If you have short limbs you will benefit from isolation exercises for the chest, back and shoulders.

Hey Thibs,

I am trying out a workout that I have never tried before, lifting one main exercise a day. I'll select either Bench, Dips, Squats, Rows, Deadlifts, Rack Chins, or Overhead Press for that day and do a whole training session with that one exercise. Any suggestions on the rep schemes to maximize work done? I am not going with a time limit, but i'm taking a how my body feels approach.

I am planning on taking your auto-regulate approach but do you suggest that for such a routine?
Thanks!

Thib, do you think a glucosamine+msm supplement a worthy investmenet for someone who`s always lifting heavy with low reps ? I want to reduce shoulder and knee irritations. What dosage would you recommend ?

Actually I don’t like these products, never had results with them. For inflammation purposes I go with Curcumin 500 (8 caps a day), 1000-2000mg of vitamin C and a high dose of fish oil.
