New to Forums - Advice on Bulking...

Hello guys i am new to this forums. Some info about me…
Height - 5’10
Weight - 165Lb
Bf% - i think 20 but not sure at all i am skinny fat
I read a lot of articles and decided to bulk so i would be Clean Bulking up to 180LB-
If you can give me suggestions or any advice you are most welcome to…

My Diet- Aprox 3000Cals

aprox 175p/400c/85f
Diet-

Meal 1 - 4 egg whites/1 cup oats/olive oil for cooking (30/62/15)
Pre W/O - 1 can Tuna/2 cups brown rice/- (32/80/0)

15 min After w/o - 1 scoop whey/banana (30/15-0)
30 min after- Post W/O meal- 4 slice white bread WITH 1 Tbsp honey (12/67/4)
Meal 4 - 4oz chicken brest/1 1/2 cup brown rice/1 tbsp olive oil (28/60/14)
meal 5 - 4 oz chicken brest/1 1/2 cub brown rice/1 tbsp olive oil (28/60/14)

1 or 1/2 hour later 1 cups 1%milk/1 scoop whey/2tbsp PB (48/36/34) some almonds

How does it look

Where are the veggies? Also, why the white bread after your pwo shake? Why not just add some gatorade powder or something?

i do add veggies but i just dont know how many carbs they go so i didnt include it in my list… but i do eat… onions,asparagus, brocolie… ect… i dont count how much viggies i eat but i do include it in my diet atleast in 4 of my meals every day

about the white bread i included that because white bread is high in GI so i wanted a meal that raises my insulin and i can get some proteien… sry dont know how to explain it but the reason is to spike insulin lvls before getting the protein

I wouldnt bulk at around 20% BF, espeacially as a newbie it could go horribly wrong. Just train hard and eat smart for at least 6months before worrying about bulking. just my thoughts bro hope whatever ya do works out!

Umm…bulking up is a potential consequence (usually inevitable) of eating and training to gain size. Its not the fucking goal.

well obviously its not the goal dude, im bulking myself! but in my opinion and thats what this is at 5’10, 165lbs and 20 percent bf he has little muscle and lots of fat and “I” would get into shape before getting more out of it. much respect though! oh n OP like i said i hope u get stuck in and progress whatever

Since when can newbies estimate accurately their own body fat percentages without being tested?

This guy weighs 165lbs. Telling him to go on a strict diet right now makes no sense at all, especially when you are relying in his own “perceived impression” of his body fat level to give him that advice.

Likewise, informing someone like this to “bulk up” is equally wrong.

Most of these people don’t even seem to be regular gym goers. You fix that first before you try to predict how their body will respond to long term training.

I agree with u you dude, when i say eat smart i mean get enough in ya to do the job, train n eat. not bulk or cut.

yeah, that confused me too. But after re-reading it a few times, I think he was speaking in general, and not so much to you or the person that was quoted.
