New to Fish Oil, Help

Haven’t taken it before but I’m looking to start for all of its wonderful effects. Will probably start with a higher dosage to help with insulin sensitivity. Anybody have recommendations of what needs to be in the brand I buy etc.

Like with creatine ya know there is micronized or pill form or regular powdered monohydrate etc. Any type of little differences in fish oils I should be aware of etc etc. Whats the best mix I’m looking for to help with insulin sensitivity?

The creatine and fish oil available through this site can’t be beat.

thanks, i know about creatine i just wanted to use that as an example of how one product can have so many varieties. I;m probably gonna get some Flameout but i want something else to so I can up the dose as CT has suggested to others.

I take my 4 Flameout a day, then use “healthy ideas” fish oil that I get from stop and shop for an extra few grams.

Just go to walmart and get you some enteric coated fish oil caps. No fish burps that way.

Take your standard 4 Flameout a day, and add in some of the low quality stuff to beef it up.

Like these guys said, Flameout + Any Decent Bulk Fish Oil.

I personally do Flameout and GNC Fish Oil.

Shoot for 12-15g a day, I have read that that is pretty good for dieting.

I buy Vitamin World brand. They’re cheaper than the GNC’s, and usually have a buy 1/get 1 deal a few times per month. IU throw 3 of these down with each 1 Flameout (at each meal). If you have any joint pains, twinges, or anything, you’ll notice a difference in a few weeks,

Look for the EPA/DHA content on the back. The higher the better. Standard fishoil is 180/120. Flameout has a pretty high dosage and contains more DHA than EPA (supposedly better or something).

I take the LIFE brand omega 3’s. It’s marine fishoil so it has a 300/200 ratio.
