Wow…i’m a police officer, and i think that law’s bullshit. why don’t they enact that penalty for posession of narcotics, or something else?? a citation is designed as negative conditioning (which i guess this is at an absurd level). now people are going to elude and run from the cops just because they don’t want a damn ticket.
there’s a good quote in one of those links about turning peace officers into tax collectors. not good…

That’s a good point I didn’t think of. However, I don’t think many reasonable people are going to from the cops because they don’t want a ticket and fine. I think reasonable people, for the vast majority, know that they’ll be caught whether they run or not.
