New Side Effects After 4 Months, Rapid Heartbeat After Shots

That sounds like I will need a better Dr. unfortunately I don’t know any, and believe me my Dr. is supossedly one of the best in the city, a never thought I will have problems with my heart on TRT but if there is any other effective alternative to treat low testosterone I’ll try it.

Did you get any labs done at the second incident?

What did the treating physician recommend?

In some patients TRT is associated with an increased risk of thrombotic events early in the treatment, peaking around months 3 to 6.

I would be very careful given the symptoms you describe and stop TRT for now maybe looking into alternative options.

Elevated estrogen can wreak havoc on the male body including racing heart rates, been there experienced that and reducing the dosage fixed everything.

Yes the bloodwork I posted was done the next day after It happened, I thought my blood had gotten thicker thats why It happened, but turned out normal.

This is what happened day by day I got the side effects.
Day 1
Fast heart rate
Day 2
Same
Day 3
Went to the ER
Day4
No fast heart rate but left side of my back hurted coulnt lay down on that side, checked my pressure like with sphygmomanometer and immediately felt dizzy like it obstructed blood or something, pain in left arm
Day 5
Dizziness headache in right side of the head, pain on back and left arm
Day 6 and 7 same
Day 8
All gone

I still feel my heart rate is up not too fast but higher than normal with a small pinch on my tricep since I injected yesterday 25 mgs, What do you recommend? Stop completely, to do very small doses or do gels? Cause Im gonna give this up completely.

You know when I attempted the 10mg daily protocol I had an extreme leg stiffness and spasms and it turned out I’m extremely sensitive to daily protocols, this protocol crush my potassium levels that were already low long before I started this protocol as previous testing showed several months earlier but doctors said nothing because potassium levels were at the bottom of the range, but still normal which is why no action was taken.

I wish doctors were more proactive. The pinch in tricep comment sounds all to familiar, often doctors don’t do enough testing. I was sure I was about to die last April and it turned out to be a couple of deficiencies, but boy did is scare the you know what out of me.

Low potassium can make it difficult for the heart to beat and can cause muscle pain that would resemble pinching sensation because without potassium, your nerve can’t communicate with your brain, this includes the nerve that connect to your brain to tell your heart to beat.

A racing heart rate is what I experienced when potassium was low. If it was a blood clot you would feel stiffness, swelling and warmth in the surrounding area of pain.

You say you had tests done, did this including checking for clotting factors?

Your changed your dosage, so you are expected to feel off because now homeostasis is lost and must be brought back into balance after 6 weeks injecting the same dosage. Almost everyone goes through this hormone roller coaster after changing things up.

This lost in homeostasis causes my heart to speed up and return to normal on and off for 6 weeks after changing dosages. Hormonal fluctuations can cause strange sensations that are harmless.

I said after that TSH above 2 with suboptimal FT3. You may have such TSH but your FT3 to be also good. Ive seen such people on TRT and I do not understand the reason for that yet

Honestly I dont know. What I can say for sure is that with the symptoms you describe you dont want to play around with injection frequency and dose but seek professional medical help.

The ER physician must have said something. They must have done bloods at the ER to rule out a pulmonary embolism or a cardiac echo to check for signs of global or regional hypomobility or increased pulmonary pressure. What was their conclusion and what does your doc say about this?

There is just no way that we can give you concrete recommendations. As mentioned this can be all sort of things from benign to really really serious. And there seems to be a clear connection timewise between your injection and the onset of symptoms. You need to get more diagnostics done.

And whats the reason that you are on TRT at your age? Is the T prescribed and from the pharmacy or underground?

Man, me too, I was like this is it, Its over, suddenly my left arm was numb like couldn’t click the volume buttons on my cellphone, but it got wayy worse when my heart started pounding and my jaw hurted cause I thought it was a heart attack and then I thought It was a stroke, I know I can make it through a heart attack but a stroke is way to much, I did believed i had a blood clot in my brain, which made me super miserable, cause I had symptoms like blurred vision my left arm left leg was ok even went for a run, felt slightly better afterwards, but left arm hurted bad couldnt use it if i did I would get dizzy, no droopin of face and no problem speaking maybe just a little bit, and also went away in a few days so I dont think I have one.

Im gonna check the that this week though.

And even after going through alll this hell, I still wanna know what is causing it, I dont like to dropping things just because there is no answer.

Having low t is no joke its a living hell. Everything sucks.
And my total test isnt even high its 440 thats what I dont get.

I guess androgel should do it for now. Haha

Your TT is not a measurement of the free portion of testosterone, the FT is the stuff that’s important.

These forums can be a scary place, remember we are just untrained random guys on the internet and is no substitute for a real doctor who has proper training. This place can be a resource and a place that can cause anxiety because not all advice is good advice.

I am pretty good at helping men find protocols that work, I have some all around knowledge, but I’m nothing compared to the doctors leading the field of TRT.

Blood clots are very rare around here, in fact I’ve never seen a single case in over three years on three different forums, seen a few cases of gyno, but nothing super scary such as a blood clot.

This video should ease some anxiety.

My Dr. didn’t even worried, said bloodwork was fine maybe it was a reaction, but believe me there is no way that was just a reaction.

I had the test levels of a 5 year old girl, total test was 180. Life sucked, my relationships were a nightmare. Just a complete mess.

Being on trt took me back to when I was 17
I enjoyed going out and hang out with family and friends. Finally life was getting good again, got my confidence back, went back to school and actually tried to become a better student, got a job and I wasn’t feeling super tired in the morning even after sleeping 8 hours in the morning as used to, I now feel better not 100% good but maybe a 70% but still, basically just a strong human being mentally and physically.

Thats why I dont want to give this up, but after what I experienced this can go south really really bad even at small doses.

What should I do?

You need more lab testing, your thyroid should have been investigated do to high TSH. You have no testosterone labs, no SHBG and no estrogen labs. Now that you have made changes we may not know what was causing these symptoms.

Labs are how we see what’s going on inside the body, your TT is actually very low, 123 in fact which suggest SHBG is very low and explains why you might have been having problems with the once weekly dosing.

The next time you get labs, make sure you have these listed below.

  • Total T
  • Free T
  • SHBG
  • Estradiol (E2)
  • Thyroid Panel → TSH/Free T4/Free T3/Reverse T3/antibodies

Tomorrow Im getting bloodwork done, hope something finally shows up,

You need professional help.

Labs including D dimer, troponin and BNP
Cardiac echo
Stress test ECG
X ray of your thorax

Don’t focus your attention now on T, E2, thyroid now. Do that later when you figured out what’s causing the more serious symptoms.

Sounds like excess catecholamines. Epinephrine specifically. 5-HTP could help to balance you out for a while, but most likely it’s just an adjustment period. As in, you’re not used to producing normal levels of stimulants and it’s overwhelming you. It goes away .Listen to what @johann77 is saying, he is pretty sharp.

Talked to a physician, a colleague of mine

First of all this is no medical advice.

The symptoms (pain in arm, back and jaw, rapid heart beat, nausea) you describe are in agreement with following potential diagnoses:
Acute coronary syndrome

  • STEMI - this would show up in an ecg
  • NSTEMI - does not show up in an ecg
  • unstable Angina pectoris - does not show up in

Pulmonary embolism
Pericarditis/Myocarditis

He mentioned that low dose aspirin (2x per day 150 to 250 mg) reduces the probability of a recurrent acute coronary syndrome (if no allergy exists to aspirin). This is the typical procedure following exclusion of a STEMI by ecg until further workup is being done

A cardiac ultrasound scan should be performed to check for signs to a small MI or pericarditis/myocarditis (regional hypomobility of the cardiac wall, evaluation of the ejection fraction, fluid in the cardiac sack).

Lab work: Troponins will not be elevated any more, so no need to include those. D dimer should be included to exclude pulmonary embolism

If hopefully this all comes back negative a exercise stress ecg should be done.

Take care!

Update

Heart rate still a little bit up
I’m sure this will be the last day if not tomorrow since it wasn’t that big of a dose.

Bought a multi v with Iodine, took it a few minutes ago, my expectations are low.

Does anybody knows how to stop or neutralize the effects of injectable testosterone, cuz that would be a fast problem solver. I’ve been told that tamoxifen does the job but I’m still hesitant since I don’t what is causing all this.

Still shocks me that the rapid hear beat hasn’t gone away, not worried other than sometimes it gives me anxiety but after what happened to me a couple weeks ago this is absolutely nothing, It just makes me uncomfortable.

No pain no dizziness little pinch on my left tricep left arm a little bit numb thats it.

I’m gonna see a cardiologist this week just to be sure everthing is really ok, then if everything is ok I will proceed to find a better Dr. and bodybuilder who has experienced something similar to maybe get a little bit of help from both so I can continue with the treatment, knowing that both can be very beneficial and viceversa.

I’m currently feeling a little bit sad sad and a little bit emotional towards a lot of things which is a great sign cuz it means the test is going to be out of my system soon and heart rate will go back go to normal again, but I’m worried about the comedown I’ve experienced it when I stopped the treatment for 3 weeks It sucked really bad more than this tbh.

Feel free to give your 2 cents

Uh, no. It prevents E2 from binding in breast tissue. This makes it effective for gyno and breast cancer. You just have to wait.

Cannot stop the effects of the injected testosterone

Update

I kinda know where is the problem coming from.

Yesterday everything was back to normal all day no side effects till I had a burguer and a regular size bag of lays.
The burger had mayo cheese ketchup and mustard and ham and of course the patty.

I finished my dinner and my heart stared beating faster, I felt dizzy like everything turned weird I felt confused and knew immediately something was going on, and I felt great before dinner, like really good. It’s 12 am and my heart is still beating a little bit fast but nothing to worry about. I am still feeling a little bit weird but not as much as before.

I’ve had eaten a steak for lunch and everthing was good. So its for sure the sodium intake but why? I had done that once a week since I started treatment and nothing ever happened.

Is it hypertension? I doubt it cuz my blood pressure is not high only HR. But Im no doctor. It could be

Not sure where you get that, actually. More likely it’s some form of glycemia.
