GreySkull the program requires 1kg on upper body lifts
Hence the microplates I don’t wanna be a smart ass and not do the program correct
Hence I’m my old program I made up and posted asking about programs which I know nothing about

Just round up or down as you see fit and you will be fine. It is not a detail worth getting hung up on.
you are right
get two 1.25lb (.56kg) micro plates
Now I wouldn’t bother. I would add weight in 5lb increments for upper body and 10lb for lower.
Then there is no point running grey skull if you not doing greyskull
That’s my point
adding weight 5lbs at a time instead of 2.5lbs will be ok. and is still the program.
I’d argue the slower jumps will be necessary in six months maybe, certainly not now.
I think that’s a pretty silly notion to get hung up on, unless you value purity of program compliance as an important lifting priority. It really won’t matter in reality.
I didn’t run any program to the letter, but I always followed the structure and core principles. If you push your sets hard and do your part outside the gym, you can become substantially stronger and more muscular.
Edit. I still don’t run anything to the letter, but I’m 44 and lift totally differently than I did when I pushed the envelope on strength in my younger days.
Cheers
Might just look for another program lol
Looks solid for a beginners program. Good luck !
How about the 2 I suggested?
Yeah
I’m not doing super squats that’s a leg program
Mass made simple- no thanks you keep posting this on forum post
No hate but is he paying you?
It absolutely is not. What led you to that conclusion?
The opposite: I have paid for many of Dan’s books, to include buying copies for others. I will buy you a copy of the book, if you promise to run the program and log your results here. Assuming you are in the US.
You must forgive me for promoting effective programs to people who come seeking them.
How old are you @siulman247?
31 according to this
He doesn’t want mass! Perhaps Skinny Made Simple or something along those lines would be more up his alley lol
Dan actually tried that!
…it went poorly, haha.
But there’s always “Easy Strength for Fat Loss!”
This guy must be paying you.
Dan the god, name a program but Dan. Another program ease but Dan
Omg Dan no pleas Dan omg do Dan omg Dan
No Dan omg Dan no Dan
No hate just jokes , I was just asking for a simple program to follow not a god to workshop
Many programs are more power lifting squat bench , deadlift
I was asking is this something I need to worry about
Sounds like @T3hPwnisher is paying him and trying to help you. It also sounds like you won’t experiment with stuff that’s proven to work for a lot of other people and a lot of people on this site…
The issue is the guy only recommends this guy and his book suspect.
I was just asking for a simple program.i can follow and all I get guys sucking off Dan
There’s is asking for help and a program then there pushing, promoting and sucking off this Dan guy
It’s a simple program from a good coach…
That you would get for free…
He doesn’t only recommend him. He recommends a lot of other writers too. He just thinks the Dan John program is in line with your goals
Considering Pwn has done a lot in his lifting time, you should put your ego aside and listen to him
The problem.many programs today are powerlifting programs
I mean if your skinny surely you need arms and stuff to be worked
Hence I was posting to find a more well rounded program for gains not bench , squat deadlift while I will do those as well
