All I can say is BUY IT! it’s great! I have to say it rivals Cash’s American recordings. Yes, it is that damn good!!!

Really. I have never considered Porter Wagoner much more than a decent singer that hosted a country music show way back when.

Is there a website where I can hear some of the stuff before I buy?

I hear ya … I’ve always liked him and kinda felt the same way but there a few songs that just gave me chills… Or maybe it just me.

Porter’s great. I saw him a few years back at the Opry, and he sounded great. He can rock a hell of a Nudie suit, too!

I forgot to mention the Nudie Suits - God only knows how much his wardrobe is worth.

Last night I was fortunate enough to meet Fred Newell who recorded with Porter on this album. He plays pedal/steel, guitar, dobro and has for Waylon, Willie, too mahy to list.

Anyways he told me they recorded this the old fashioned way. They brought it all their equipment and just played and recorded which surprised me given the excellent sound of this album. They did a hell of a job.
