New Oatmeal Trick

I know everyone is probably looking for a few ways to improve oatmeal. Here’s my latest.

Mix oatmeal with 1/3 pkg. Jell-O Sugar-Free Fat-Free pudding mix. Add milk, let sit for ~3 mins and eat.

You can also do this with water, if the milk is an issue. In addition to flavoring your oatmeal with chocolate, butterscotch, vanilla, or pistachio, the thickening agents turn the whole thing into a rolled oat pudding. Ten times easier to eat when you are:

  1. On the Run
  2. Driving
  3. In class
  4. Having sex
  5. Shooting a gun
    etc.

My wife will love this idea… She knows I won’t have sex with her unless there’s oatmeal involved…

Thanks for the tip…

Can you mention the nutrition information of this meal?(especially for the jello mix) Isn’t resulting a bunch of bad carbs for a morning meal?

WTF? I think oatmeal is great. I have a cup of raw oats in very cold water with a packet of artificial sweetener as part of one of my meals. It stay pretty crunchy. Tastes yummy.

Another suggestion to get your oats down: sprinkle 2 teaspoons of raw oats on a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey. It’s a bit calorically dense, but maybe you are bulking. Like really bulking.

Some like oatmeal, some don’t. I didn’t say I didn’t like it. Anyhow.

4 servings in a box of the Jell-O. 25 Cals per serving (not including milk). 6g carbs, 320mg sodium.

So in 1/3 package:

33 Cals
8g Carbs
427 mg sodium

I’ll make a note that I use 1/3 package with 1.5 cups raw oats. So if you are only using 1 cup oats, 1/4 package should be fine. Give it a shot.

If you like you can add Low-Carb Grow! to the Jell-O mix and you got yourself a good P+C meal
