New Name for Grow!

Smart move…

I’ve got my eyes on you though (.)(.) Muuhhaaaaaaaa (trips in the dark while cackling…) I’m watchin it Biotest, I’m watchin it! hahahaha

God and your worried about price increases. From in the UK 1 Tub of Spike costs the equivalent of $90.

I ordered 3 bottles of Spike recently enough as part of a large order and ended up paying only 5$ in shipping per bottle. Granted I bought about 800 bucks worth of other stuff, but my philosophy is order 3 months ahead.

Don’t think I’ll have to place another order for at least another month or so. Here’s a shot of the cabinet I keep my supps in.

I placed my order right before Christmas, and it just came today. Somewhere between then and now, the name changed, so I got the new stuff…well, the same stuff in the new tub, anyway. This ought to last a little while.

We should start a thread for the “Biggest Biotest Test” and everyone can post their pics. And here I was thinking I was special with my designated cupboard!

I don’t have quite the supply of the last poster so I won’t even bother posting pics.

That’s odd. I ordered last week and still got Grow! tubs. Maybe I ordered a different flavor.

i fail to understand why you changed the name given that 3/4 of the people
who bought these products are men and the rest are women. now i recently
bought some bars and powder and the
bars were peanut and thought the tasted
great more like diet snickers and of course the powder taste like nothing
else out there on the market, really
remarkable, incredible taste and i will
continue to buy these products.

thanks, Barton

Are you saying “Why change the name to appeal to women if women don’t buy the product?”

Don’t you see that THAT is, in fact, the point: make the product more appealing to women. Men won’t stop buying it because of the name change.

How did it take over 2 weeks to receive your order? I have never had it take more than 3 days from order to my front door. It has only taken 2 days for quite some time.

Who all has tried some of that Beverly International protein that EliteFTS offers? I haven’t since I usually have to avoid putting on more weight than I already have. I am in charge of some young guys that tend to carry a tub of some crap protein from the local GNC, drinking it all day long and not gaining shit at all in terms of lean mass. I doubt that they even gain fat. Anyhow, I’ve recommended this site, EliteFTS, and this site again for those guys to spend money on something that resembles quality. I remember ordering Metabolic Drive! in Iraq and dropping around 20lbs and getting pretty damn strong. Now that I’m having my parts of my EliteFTS rack coming in and dragging the sled daily, I’m considering getting a few tubs again to aid the process of leaning out and toughening up. I also love that stuff when I go off to war because, let me tell you, the “food” we have to eat SUCKS!!! I lived off of peanuts and Grow! for months.

Tshaw, sure that make it understandable
and i agree. just my point was given
that this is a male dominated area
of supplementation and to bring in more
women in this market and their money
makes even more sence since women
are more logical then men when it comes
to intelligence thus the smarter shopper.

I’m lucky I don’t have to order that much at a time. Every two weeks (payday)I place an order of $100-200. I keep a steady flow of supps coming.

“Friggin’ Hyoooge!!” didn’t test well either I take it?

Weird…could have sworn it listed his location as New Jersey before I typed that in.

For one thing, most women didn’t like the name and they avoided buying the product. Many believed the product would make them look like female bodybuilders![/quote]

Ummm, correct me if I’m wrong but don’t women have cooties? Why would you want to sell them anything?

If one has the name Tim and also has a temper should he not be named Timmy Temper?

I still don’t understand the change from Grow! to Metabolic Drive.

From my understanding, Grow Bars were only available from Testosterone-Nation. Why would a woman ever be on this website? The need to appeal to women would only make sense if Biotest plans to sell these bars in stores. Perhaps someone could shed some light on that.

But more importantly, why the change in ingredients? Decreasing the protein and upping the sugar in exchange for taste doesn’t sound like a good tradeoff to me. When I want something sweet, I’ll grab a snickers. When I want my protein, I grab a Grow! Bar. My friends and I ordered Grow! Bars because it was cheap and was reputed to have quality protein. Those are the only facts I’m interested in.

I’m disappointed. If anyone knows where I can still pick up some boxes of Grow! Bars, please let me know.

I believe that TC, or someone else, has posted several times that the bars have not changed, but the marconutrients do vary slightly between flavors. I’ve checked the wrappers on the bars I have and don’t see any significant change. The peanut butter appear identical. The others vary a gram or two on macronutrients, but this is often the case of different flavors of products.

  1. There are plenty of women on this website. 2. Biotest does plan to sell the bars and powder outside this website. 3. You can order a box Grow! Bars right here on testosterone nation. They are just have a different name now-they are the same, otherwise.
