Come on, nobody has mentioned the 10,000 Days album by TOOL?
In particular: Vicarious, Jambi (will amp you like nothing else), The Pot
Check it out, X. I want to know how that works out for you.
Agreed, that album is awesome
Atmosphere - Fuck You Lucy
Atmosphere - Scapegoat
Lupe Fiasco - Fighters
I Voted for Kodos - Where are we going to
Kodos is a now broke up ska band. Still awesome.

Dizzee Rascal - Pussyole
fucking great song and album, i saw him live a couple months ago puts on a phenominal show, not a typical rap gig
sirens is probably one of the best tracks of last year
He reminds me of Roots Manuva. I prefer Manuva though.

yeah i’d agree on that
i thought this thread was for NEW music, not your favorite music seems like people dont understand certain songs there naming are over a decade old
I’m a big fan of hip-hop. Lately, I’ve been listening to Blu & Exile quite a bit.
Never heard of 'em?

Some hip hop:
Too Late by Kweli (DOPE beat)
I Try by Kweli and Mary J Blige (lyrics are sick, too)
I Want You by Common
And my absolute favorite Roots track - Thought @ Work
Because Phrenology was the greatest Roots album and definitely one of the best hip hop albums of all time. No fucking joke…
X, seriously. Check these out; hand picked like a butcher would the best filet for a loyal customer.

Yeah, I know the thread is specifically for new music.
I just love that clip so much that I couldn’t help myself.

Some people are atleast substituting “new music” with “new to me”

Agreed.
Blu and Exile are sick, Blu’s flow is just incredible…not gym music but by far some of the most concious rap I’ve heard in awhile. Really refreshing.
I just learned “Miss You” by the Rolling Stones.
While it’s not a new song, it sure sounds new when I play it!
Talib Kweli - Lonely People
I agree X, The Roots are very unique…who else can boast being a unique rap ‘band’? One of the best live hip-hop acts IMO.
For anyone who appreciates him Al Green new alblum “Lay It Down” is now out, pretty good…features John Legend and Anthony Hamilton in a few songs.
Lyfe Jennings newest alblum “Lyfe Change” is good too, one of the best RnB alblums I’ve heard in a long time. Some favs from it being…
Midnight Train - - YouTube
Old School (ft. Snoop Dogg) -
Giant Pandas new Electric Laser is pretty good too, got an old school vibe to it.
The Cool Kids alblum The Bake Sale EP is good as well.
