New Music

I havn’t looked through the pages upon pages of posts to see if this has been mentioned, but, the latest album from Disturbed, Indestructible, is awesome. I have been spinning it every second or third workout lately.

i purchased the track indestructible and a few others, sounds like perfect squatting music plus the cover for their latest album is truly badass

This thread is sweet. Let’s keep it going. I will contribute the following - not that new but I’ve been listening to them since they came out and I still like em so:

Rick Ross - Speedin’

Flo Rida ft. Lil’ Wayne - American Superstar

2 Pistols ft. T Pain - She Got It

Birdman ft. Young Jeezy, Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross - 100 Million

the jacka- aspen

Not sure if you’re interested in blues but lil ed williams is good, loud and fast.
Go to this site and download both songs.

Just got my hands on the “new” Avenged Sevenfold, cool stuff if you are a fan of their music. I expected a bit more from the latest Stone Sour Album. The “new” Chevelle album (Vena Sera) is a killer, it’s a bit more hardcore than their previous stuff. I got the multi award winning album from John Mayer(Continuum)a couple of weeks ago, the man is a legend.

Don’t know if she has been mentioned yet but I just heard some songs by Adele, and wow amazing singer.

I went to school with this guy. His name is Jeff Aug. Amazing guitarist:

Allan Holdsworth is a phenominal guitarist. He’s worth seeing.

My buddy’s his booking agent as well as opening act…he had to store all of his gear in his office…said it was the coolest thing…Holdsworth uses like 20 different amps each show.

what do you guys think of the new metallica single?

I like it. I’ve been listening to it since yesterday and it makes me eager for the rest of the album.

There’s got to be some residual greatness from their '80s period left somewhere in that band, right? Maybe their new bassist will be the spark that gets them back to making kick ass songs.

Some great midstream rock is anything by Ekotren, particularly “Light the Fire”. Also “Distant Measures” by Black Days Down.

I 'm not a big trujillo fan, he slinks around the stage in a crab walk, it bugs me. I’ll post a vid:

it’s at the end

He’s ok, but he’s no cliff burton.

If you want to see sweet stage performance, go to an iron maiden concert. They are amazing.

how does the way trujillo walks make him worse at the bass?

I haven’t been impressed with Metallica for years. Heard the new song, …still not impressed. Love Kill em all, Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning…and justice for all. Started waning if you ask me with The Black Album, although that is what broke them mainstream -NTTAWWT- I didn’t care they went somewhat mainstream, it’s just coincidentally when their music lost its appeal to me.

Everything after that is just painful. It’s an old story though isn’t it. I’ve probably said or typed it a hundred times and can never stop myself from doing it again. I guess it’s just a testament to my disappointment.

yes.

creepy crab people have -20% bass proficiency.

I actually like a few songs of the new Game album. I’m usually not a fan of his, but the production is nice. He does seem to be channeling Nas on a few songs, it’s quite weird actually.
