Well that makes sense. Sounds like he got his head out of his ass finally.

Does anybody else watch movies and try to picture who could play Roland in The Dark Tower series.

Watched this movie last week, just maybe Josh could pull it off? Maybe. Rough him up a bit.

Thanks for that. I mean it.

I said this about him without hearing any news that he was n drugs and a couple of friends thought I was being “mean”.
I also say this about Cameron Diaz and the girl from “Twilight” and people think I’m being mean too. But if they’re not using drugs…then no one in Hollywood is.

Though that news article linked above does tell me I was wrong in thinking Guy Pierce was gay. Apparently he’s married with children.

I like Josh Hartnett. I think he’d be able to pull it off. After Lucky Number Slevin and Sin City, I think he’d do fine.

Josh Hartnett’s face would be OK for Roland but maybe when he’s about 40.

Well remember Nards it does have flashbacks, easier to make him look older than younger.

I was thinking more with Hartnett’s height and body structure.

Looks good and fun. Will see.

Didn’t recognize Guy in this. Good to see he’s finally decided to eat a lil’ bit more.

Fangoria’s review of The Grey:

(No spoilers there, but it does say there’s something to see after the credits. Doesn’t say what, though.)

In case there was any doubt, this definitely sounds much cooler than just Liam Neeson and some dudes in the snow running from some wolves.

I had no clue about his drink and drug problem until I read that interview maybe a fortnight ago.
Strange when he seems pretty open about it (kudos to him for that). I recall around the time of The Count of Monte Cristo that he said (and I quote) “I forget to eat”.

The scrawniest he’s been was in The Proposition and even though I didn’t consider drugs as a cause then, he looked like he had an eating disorder. Looks like your instincts were correct.

And I agree, Cameron Diaz is definitely using hard drugs. She’s what, only 37? Not aging well at all.

Bella Swan was caught on camera smoking pot. Not sure if she uses anything harder, but she looks permanently stoned.

I watched a Jay Leno with her and she was annoyingly awkward and you could tell she was stoned. It doesn’t help that she seems pretty stupid anyway.

Who the fuck is Bella Swan? You all better not be talking about some Twilight bullshit!

I am officially interested in this now. I never really gave wolves much thought until I saw that film with the kids stuck in the ski lift.

Great, we need another movie depicting animals as malicious hellspawn. I predict a rise in Sarah Palin approval following the release of this movie.

Lol, but calumniating non-humans brings us all together! A terror shared is a bond built. :stuck_out_tongue:

Con Air in space!

Hollywood has taken one of the most syndicated movies of all-time and upped the ante. Better actors, hot chick and space ships.

ID won’t be pleased!

So, went to the screening of Outpost: Black Sun this morning. Girlfriend worked on the set and I have a mate who plays one of the three zombie lieutenants so I got an invite to go along.

If you liked the first one you’ll definitely like this one. Same feel and same British patter throughout this one though there were some changes to the Nazi apparitions of the first film - they now seem more corporeal. No more appearing behind doors or any such nonsense but they’re pretty much still the same unstoppable horrors they were in the Outpost.

There were a couple of iffy effects, probably down to it still being in post-production (?), but overall a fine effort and, it would seem, the middle installment of a trilogy so even more Nazi zombie mayhem to continue, yay ^^

Funk your dwarves!! THeron in a milk bath!!!
That kristen Twlight chick needs to removed from the big and small screens. She is whore-ible. She lacks a soul and probably should be executed. Just saying

It’s a trendiliy realistic take on Snow White. Dwarves are too far-fetched to feature.

Especially 7 of them.
