I read an article about Prometheus 2, where Ridley Scott claims he will move the story further away from the Alien theme, which makes me wonder how he can bridge the first Prometheus with Alien (if he even plans to do so.)
None the less, I loved the first one, and that chick who had the alien abortion was smokin’ hot.
I actually enjoyed the first one and am ok with them “waiting” to delve into the Aliens aspect of the story, but there’s NO WAY they can leave the rest of the massive holes of the first film unfilled.
The dude from Lost helped write the first one. If you ever watched Lost then you know why all those things never got answered.

You shut your whore mouth!! I will try and be there opening night for TMNT.
Michael Bay sucks but I Will see TMNT in the theatre, probably more than once. Hercules looks fucking awful.
I will also be seeing TMNT but, Megan Fox and Michael Bay? They are pushing it.
Also, what the FUCK is up with their faces? They do not look like mutated turtles they look like deformed humans.
^I must be one of the only people who doesn’t seem to get a boner over this movie. Looks totally just like a rental when it comes out.

This movie is a rental at Red Box, nothing else.
Whaaaaat, Michael Bay completely generic CGI over the top swooshy action dark knight-esque TMNT is exciting yet the biggest risk Marvel has taken in recent years isn’t?
FTR I dislike Marvel’s lame play it safe approach to movies (although it has ensured their movies have stayed in the mediocre to good range, never great though) they have earned my ticket by putting something out as abstract as a movie with a talking racoon and vin disel voicing a tree lol.
Although that is no indication of quality it is at least something that is different.

Haha. Fair enough but I know about the TMNT universe so it appeals to the little kid in me. I know nothing of the Guardians of the Galaxy so it doesn’t have the appeal
Thoughts please.
The market for “4-D” cinema is heating up in Southern California.
High-tech theaters will consist of 100 seats and will be powered by the company’s patented technology that uses air pneumatics to control the motion of the seats synchronized to the action on the screen. In addition to moving seats, the theaters also use such effects as air, water blasts, leg and neck ticklers, wind, fog and scents to create a more realistic moviegoing experience.

I would never go see a movie in a setting like that. I like to sit back and relax when I go see a movie. Movies are already expensive enough as it is. I can’t imagine what they would charge for tickets to see a movie like that.

Don’t know if it is even still there but, universal studios had something like this with terminator it was pretty cool. Then again I was a kid so, who knows…
With all the advancements I can see it being fun. At the very least I would give it a try.

Madame Tousse’s in NYC has a Happy Feet 4-D thing it’s basically you sitting there getting poked in the back by something supposed to be a penguin’s “beak” and “sea spray” as Happy swims in the water to avoid a Sea Lion. It was Lame but it was part of the ticket and the only way I could see to leave the museum
wonder how 4-D works in a porno theater…DUCK!..PFFFFT!

Agreed. This sounds awful. Isn’t Cali in the economic shitter? I imagine tickets would be at least twice as much as normal for this. So, you’re taking a state where everything’s already incredibly expensive, a population with limited disposable income, and you’re building super seats that spray you in the face and offer the faint smell of lasagna during the next Garfield epic? Makes sense. Could see it doing ok for kids flicks (provided their folks are millionaires) but overall predict it to bomb. Then again, the American public is full of morons, so who knows.
