Hercules. With The Rock. As Hercules.
I’ll be honest, I’m not totally feeling the beard. It looks costume-y. .
I read online that’s it’sd actual Yak hair. Not sure if that’s supposed to help stir up excitement for the film or not -lol

Did The Rock reach into the belly of that yak and rip out its heart?

I’m stoked for it. I wish the Sentinels looked like the original but I guess they were made more modern. In reality, they were such filler in the cartoon and I don’t recall if they ever really posed much of a problem (unless you were Morph).
I still hate how Quicksilver looks like a Saturday morning cartoon character
Well Xavier’s evil twin sister, who he killed in the womb but her telepathic powers allowed her to live, used the sentinals to destroy genosha after magneto had annexed it and set it up as a refuge for mutants basically killing a bunch of useless characters, then in House of M Scarlet Witch finished the rest off by using her powers and turning off the m gene.

That seems like such a crazy story line! This goes way beyond my knowledge. I wasn’t a comic book kid so my love for XMen is based solely on the cartoon series and even then some of it lost me at points if I remember correctly.
I read an article about Prometheus 2, where Ridley Scott claims he will move the story further away from the Alien theme, which makes me wonder how he can bridge the first Prometheus with Alien (if he even plans to do so.)
None the less, I loved the first one, and that chick who had the alien abortion was smokin’ hot.

I actually enjoyed the first one and am ok with them “waiting” to delve into the Aliens aspect of the story, but there’s NO WAY they can leave the rest of the massive holes of the first film unfilled.

He’s wished to move the Prometheus universe further with each instalment supposedly since it’s not really a prequel - only exists in the same universe - and the Deacon (alien at the end of Prometheus) is technically not a xenomorph. This makes me happy because the whole Space Jockey/ Engineer mythology is so interesting to me.

The Deacon was the squid thing? I’m on board with really any way they take it, as long as they explain where they’re taking us.

Nah the Deacon was the the alien that was birthed from the Engineer, the squid thing was known as Cuddles lol. I completely agree, that’s why I still really enjoy the first cause the intrigue is there but without any follow up it will just end up like Lost.

I thought that was an “Alien”, like a “Ripley wrecked y’all’s shit” Alien? Yeah, I went into Prometheus looking it was gonna be a series so I wasn’t bummed or irritated with the lack of info. If it happens again Scott’ll never see another dime from me.
looks like a new Cheech and Chong movie is in the works by Super Troopers director Jay Chandrasekhar.
they’ll be going to the “Burning Joint” festival. I guess a take off of the Burning Man festival. hope it’s fun. Still love “Up In Smoke”

Nah it’s a different type of thing entirely supposedly since it was born more developed, with a different head structure and has a second jaw (rather than second mouth).

Hmmm. That’s kinda strange that they’d introduce basically a carbon copy then bail on explaining it.
