New Movie Trailers and Spoilers

So will Tokyo get fucked and rely on some nerd to save the day or will it be the typical yank coastal cities getting wasted and Team murika getting it on?

If it is the latter it will suck.

X-Men Days of Future Past trailer is finally revealed.

Love this series and I dont care what others think. I grew up reading this book and LOR.

Peter Jackson is doing a good job bringing this to visual life.

No movie can do what the books do, but he has done a great job.

Absolutely brother. Never understood why people complained about it being split into 3 parts, or about the length of the first one. It’s such a good story that the embellishment only adds to it.

I could have a problem if Michael Bay was making these, but Jackson is a LOR nerd and loves the series like a fanboy. So why the hate? I just think Jesus if I had the talent and vision, would I do anything different?

I enjoyed the first Hobbit. My only complaint that it seemed like a lot more CGI was used than the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I loved the way the orcs looked in the first ones.

I’ll give you that. Thinking back I liked the gritty realism of the orcs better in LOTR too. Still loved the first Hobbit though.

I never read any of the books and I still haven’t seen the 1st Hobbit. Worth reading the series?

I’ve been looking for something after the Game of Thrones series. (On book 5 but haven’t really been reading it)

I had my reservations about making it a trilogy, but it’s just as much a Peter Jackson movie as a Tolkien story. The harshest critics expect a direct adaptation, which can’t be done - it’s like trying to write a painting.

Exactly. You cannot really do a direct adaptation period. Jackson has the spirit of the story. He is doing it justice IMO.

I did also have reservations.

Jackson also took it upon himself to do the appendices additions which is why it’s a trilogy; I think he’s done about as great a job as can be expected with a few minor trip-ups.

Thor. In IMAX-3D tomorrow. Yup.

ā€˜Star Wars: Episode VII’: JJ Abrams film to open December 18, 2015.

2 more fucking years :(((
